How come alot of you use the Pierce +0 extensions and not the +1?

I am going to be buying a G36 soon (As my HK USP compact .45 is a little large) and I ordered extra mags with the Pierce +1s.

Should I go back to the stock floor plates?

Thanks
Kyle

Some people have had feeding problems with the +1 extenstions until they added a stronger spring. I just got my G36 and have had no problems so far with standard strength springs in my +1s. A lot of other people don't like the +1s because they add too much to the butt of the gun and make it more difficult to conceal so they go with the +0s.

The Pearce "+0" extensions are for carrying in the gun.
They don't elongate the butt length, while they do solve the "pinkie pinch" problem, provide a "finished" look to the pistol, and give a better gripping surface than the stock mag floorplate.

The Pearce "+1" extensions are good for use in spare/backup mags.

Personally, I replace all stock Glock magazine springs with Wolff "extra power" items, which takes care of any concerns about use of the Pearce +1 rextensions causing feeding problems.

Same for me. I have only one +0 extension on the magazine that is in the gun and the spare is stock. The +1 makes for too much sticking out to hide just for one more round. Kinda defeats the purpose of the mini .45 by doing that. I still wonder why Mr. Glock couldn’t have extended the butt down to the length of a flat floor plate like the 17,19,22,23 etc. with 6 rounds while the frame was being designed. That bigger chunk of crap hanging down from the 30,36 magazine just looks like an afterthought to me.
