USGI H&R service-grade. Serial# 5725xxx, so it is one of the last 75000 made by H&R. It's a real mixmaster, with lots of WW2 parts. Rebuilt 8-65 at Rock River Army Depot. It has a 2-65 Springfield barrel on it, and a "tiger stripe" birch stock and upper handguard.
Damn, but it looks fine !

most, but not all cameras, are easy to download. if you connect a USB cord from your camera to your computer, and then open up "My Computer" on your desktop, it should be listed as a drive.
but, this isn't true for all cameras.

My third CMP M-1 was a H&R. I asked for a late serial number H&R. The one they sent was in the last 1,000 or so made! For my second M-1 I asked for a Winchester. Got a Winchester! This was before you had to select which maker, and pay appropriately of course. I really have wanted one of those 1903A3s, but have too many other toys on the wish list. There's nothing in this world like having the FedEx truck show up with a long box from your friends at the CMP!
It is a crap shoot, but there are still some nice rifles to be had.
