Our local Academy sells CCI ammo for less than $4.00/box. 9mm, of course. I've never tried that aluminum stuff in my Glock, but I know my 1911 hates it as well as several other pistols I've witnessed trying to fire it. Anyone here have personal experience, good or bad, with the rounds as the price is sure right.
Thanks in advance.

That stuff is awesome. I just bought 1000 rounds for $77.20 at academy. It's accurate and it burns clean.
I'm using it in my Baby Eagle with out any problems at all. I don't know how it will work in your Glock, but I'm thinking it should be okay.
Edit: I chronoed the rounds at 1230fps, so the stuff is not weak by any means.

The first 200 rounds of the 1000 round case I bought have gone through my 17 without any problems. I do not really expect any.

I've fired many thousands of rounds of CCI Blazer through my G34, and quite a few through my more recent G19 and G17 (not to mention the Blazers I've shot through my G21s and G30!) I consider Blazer to be EXCELLENT ammo!

THANKS!! I've just picked up a couple of boxes. Expect it to go bang okay. Everything else has in my G19.
Always appreciate the input.

Your glock eating Blazer ammo is fine. It's just your princess 1911 gun being picky again.
Trust me, I've seen guys at the range shoot Wolf ammo through their $1K 1911's and they wonder why they get jams.

I've never trusted CCI Blazer until I came across the 9mm. I've been using them for IDPA and they work just fine^c! And I don't mind leaving that stuff just laying around for the recycler! Buy some and shoot it up. You'll probably like it.

I like buying it for less than I can reload it for and then not having to pick up my brass when I'm done shooting.

That's what I shoot in my G19 for many years now. No problems. I've seen problems with Wolf in other 9's.

Just bought a case for $82 including tax. I've shot about 500 rds through my CZ-75B and I just had my first FTE yesterday. That happened after I had put about 250 rds in a row through it. Knock on wood.
put 2k rds through my g33 and never had a single failure. price is right, goes bang every time and you don't have to feel bad about leaving that expensive brass laying in the dirt. come to think of it, i think i'll pick up a case of it for the g17 on my way home today.
Cheap, accurate, clean has been my experience. A good choice unless you reload.

I can get 1.5"-2.5" groups with this stuff at 15yds depending on how many shots I put in the target.
Only problem is my shots seem to group to the right. Don't know if it the gun or the ammo.
When I got my new 19 three months ago, the cartridge case for the record that came with it (long since gone, thank you) was a CCI. Good enough for Glock, good enough for me. I wished I could buy it in RI or on the Internet for $4.00 per.
