I just got my G30 back from Glock today, where I had sent it to have the frame upgraded.
I carried to the range and to the coffee shop afterward with a 9rd mag that I purchased from Glockmeister.
What a difference 1 round makes! The flush fitting magaine is much more comfortable, as it doesn't hit the back of the car seat and move the butt forward, and it seems to balance better in the holster.
Reloads are 10 rounders though ;)

I like to carry my G30 with 9 rounders, also. I put a plus zero extension on mine and it conceals just as easy, but with a more comfortable grip.

I rarely carry my G30, since my acquisition of a G26. Come to think of it, the G30's been in the safe since day 1 of G26. When I did carry my G30, however, it was usually equipped with a 9-rd. mag.

With or without the Pearce G29 +0, the G30 with a 9 rounder is much easier to conceal. With the Pearce extension on the 9 round mag, the G30 seems, well, perfect.
I have the same plan as spddogman--9+1 in the G30 with 2 10 round spares. With one in the pipe you have a consistant 10 rounds for your first, second and third magfull.

How about some pics of a G30 with the flush-fitting 9 rounders? Thx.

G30 w/9rd mag in Mika's Pocket Holster. Great for camping.

That's a G30 with a 9rder on the left next to a G36 with a standard 6rd mag, which has the same height profile as a G30 10 round mag
The OAL may not seem significant in a picture, but it sure feels significant in a holster or my smartcarry.
