Prefered G19 Leather

What are you's guy's carrying your G19's in? I am really liking the Milt Sparks Versa Max. Good quality leather makes packing this pistol a breeze. I think I'll get a belt holster just to have one, however I almost alway's carry IWB. ;c

I have a 48 inch waist so I HATE iwb... I picked up a cheap black pancake holster, and it worsk great. Just as good as any galco, or other high priced holster.

My two main holsters for most of my handguns are the High Noon Mr. Softy IWB and your basic Fobus paddle holster.

I use a Galco Concealable (OWB).

Fobus paddles will work, though there are agressive Fobus-haters out there.

For IWB, check Sidearmor. I have the older IWB and like it--as much as I can like IWB; the holster is beautiful, but I dislike IWB in general. Many on GT love the new 4th generation Sidearmor IWB.

For concealable OWB, try a FIST #7 in Kydex. Mine has a body-side shield and a tension screw as upgrades. This is a VERY concealable pancake-style hoslter that tucks the pistol butt close to your body.

Edited to add: I do NOT put my modern, high-tech pistol in the skins of dead animals, so I suppose I should title my post "Preferred G19 Plastic". :cool:

Gen 4 Sidearmor is what I prefer. If it is not an option Smartcarry, although I find a P11 works better in that situtation.

Can't go wrong with a Bagmaster Belt Clip Holster. It's made of Cordura Nylon and won't mar the polymer Glock frame.

And best of all, the thing comes with a lifetime warranty and it only cost me an Andrew Jackson!

Can be used as OWB or IWB.

My favorite is the Sidearmor 4th Gen. Except for my VMII for the 1911 I often carry, the Sidearmor is the best holster I've come across.

Usually holsters with an adjustable cant suck - the Sidearmor not only works, it works great.

The few times I carried my G19, it rode in a COMPTAC CTAC (which is now for sale in the classifieds).

OWB: Comp-Tac Paddle.

I Will (waiting on permit) carry my G19 in my Mitch Rosen IWB express holster or maybe my Comptac Ctac holster. (It has leather tabs so it qualifies right? ;))

I LOVE my High Noon Hideaway IWB horsehide holster. I've owned them for 3 different guns now and have found nothing better. Bonus- my G36 fits in my G19 holster :cool: It fits pretty well but I'll probably buy one for my G36 when I get the money, I like a perfect fit.

DeSantis thumb break holster. I love it - rides high and has two positions for optional forward cant. I've got the exact same one for my G21, too. Reccomended.

I carry a G23 now, but my G19 is its back-up. Anyway the holster I swear by is a Safariland 560 paddle. It's so comfortable that you hardly know you are wearing it.

When I carry my G-19, it rides in a Milt Sparks VM-II. All of my carry guns ride in VM-IIs. I own 3 of them. Obviously, I am a very satisfied customer.

I just found & bought a new GLOCK holster for my soon-to-be G19...still waiting on paperwork before I can pick it up.;Q

This holster looks like a great "minimalist" design.

Here's a pic of my G26 in a holster that it shares with my G19. It's my favorite one. It's an Uncle Mike's kydex paddle that I customized with Stingray skin.

IWB: Sidearmor IWB (the older model with normal belt loops).

I REALLY prefer the UCR, but mine has cracked and the company hasn't responded to my email or call to find out about replacing/repairing.
