Yo, S-'n-M! WE appreciate YOUR appreciation of our achievement! We suggest that your next appreciation session be spent in the fabulous 10-Ring Facility Long Bar. ... (Those knowledgeable in history will immediately know we stole that title from the Long Bar at Shepaerds Hotel in Cairo, the traditional British watering hole in the Middle East in the days of the Empire. For those who don't care about this historical trivia, just play along; The A&E, History, and Discovery Channel bigshots negotiating their next contract with us really dig that kind of stuff.) ... C'mon down, relax, enjoy, savor the offerings; just unload your piece when you arrive.

Well, the powder and primers required to meet anti-vampire specs (10,000 fps) are not commonly available. I failed to mention that the shells are actually Titanium-Adamantium alloy. Terribly expensive. But with all the vampire funds we sieze, it's no biggie.

FVZA Directive 3-59.11 - In the event of a massive Vampire strike on humans, it will be our sole responsibility to repopulate the Earth. (Don't worry gals, there are about 5 females total in the FVZA to share the burden.) The males will partcipate in a hand-to-hand combat tournament for 1st bid on a proper breeding female.

I know what some of you are thinking. Hey, I don't write the rules, I just enforce them.;)

mine was a bb rifle, gold-leaf coloured, with a lil scope. i was 10. was also deadly with a 12ga but that belonged to a friend's uncle. my first real firearm didn't come til i was 28, though (there's that number again!). was a Taurus .357 revolver, don't even remember the model#, (wasn't a gun nut at the time). i was living in a sketchy area and decided it was gun time so i walked into the local shop bucking for a .44 but the range guy found it was my first gun and shook his head and smiled and suggested a .38, and i was like "i don't wanna have to fire twice!!", so we compromised on the .357 :). that gun saved my gf's life just months later, but i didn't have to fire the shot. i'd gone against my training though. we're trained to aim for the torso, but when the chips were down, i pointed it right between his eyes (a la Billy Jack)

i started with ranger 22 7shot and 12 side by side inherited when grandfather died - i did graduate to a bb gun which i wore the trigger out [dad worked for a manufacturing co so he got me a piece of delrin and i made a trigger for the gun, still shoots 50 years later

IMPORTANT 10-RING ADMINISTRATIVE NOMENCLATURE ANNOUNCEMENT:

(This is just a name-change; you 10-Ringers can keep on drinking without worrying about missing something REALLY important.)

The Dungeon Blackmail, Extortion, and Advertising Sub-Committee has decided, upon advice of the Dungeon Linguistics Unit, to change its name.

It is now the Blackmail, Extortion, and Advertising Sub-Team. This yields the snappy acronym "BEAST", which is more euphonious than the original. We anticipate no trouble with this switch, except for certain minor stationery replacement costs.

Thank you for your cooperation; let the partying continue!

Let it be duly noted, that given the "generosity" of his real jobs Christmas bonus (yes, they DID call it Christmas!), uncle will donate the necessary funds to facalitate the necessary stationary printing change.
This on the condition that the printer "recomended" by uncle to the 10 Ring Administrative Commmitee is in fact, employed for the task.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL IN THE 10-RING !

Teacher Arrested

At New York's Kennedy airport today, an individual later discovered to be a public school teacher was arrested trying to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a setsquare, a slide rule, and a calculator. At a morning press conference, Attorney general John Ashcroft said he believes the man is a member of the notorious al-gebra movement. He is being charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction.

IMPORTANT 10-RING FACILITY ADMINISTRATIVE ANNOUNCEMENT

EVERY calendar displayed in the 10-Ring Resort Facility will be the G29 swimsuit calendar I saw today in the calendar kiosk in the nearest mall. The images of G29 contained within its pages are worthy of the most intensive scrutiny of which the salacious 10-Ringers (pardon my redundancy) are capable! G29, in my considered opinion, reduces the over-publicized SI models to, at best, marginal consideration in the modeling aspects of physical existence.

Suse, I salute your wisdom in knowing when to beat a retreat back to the slurpie mold when a temporary loss of wits puts you in possible danger; clearly you have been partying to the max, and are showing the effects.

IMPORTANT FOLLOWUP TO THE PREVIOUS 10-RING ADMINISTRATIVE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Dungeon Peons are proud to report that the 10-Ring Facility calendar re-equipment with G29 calendars will be accomplished FAR UNDER BUDGET! We took advantage of the 50%-off calendar sales now running throughout the country. While there may be a chance that G29 just might be offended by having her images on a mark-down sale, we feel she will be understanding about our acting in such a manner. As an author-friend pointed out to me decades ago, you can't consider your self a TRUE author until you finally see your book on a remainder table!

The Plot Device Sub-Committee of the Dungeon Historical Research Unit has requested me to pass along this tidbit.

The Red color of the Star Fleet uniform shirt is not the DETERMINING survival factor; Scotty was frequently seen in a red shirt. IF 1) there was a Star Trek landing party, 2) the landing crew member wore a red shirt AND 3) was unnamed, THEN that crew member didn't make it to the 1st commercial break.

susan28
01-04-2006, 22:34
yes, Scotty was an exception.. i think on that episode where those hidden aliens made that crackling friction-type noise in the vicinity of the landing party, Kirk referred to some redshirts by name, but they were unknown before that episode and they bought it, and the names were only heard in the command that sent them to their death ("go check out that noise" or some such) ..

maybe it's "if their names aren't heard before beaming down" that's the x factor.

i will report any other excpetions to the DHRU during the next Star Trek marathon..

Clarice is officially now "Gary".

Gary has overcome some of the thickest social barriers that exist in society today. He is successful, popular, and respected by his peers.

Here's to Gary (He is the stripety one).

The exposure of the picture makes him look doll-like, doesn't do him justice.

Friday the 13th & nobody's here ???????

Has triskadecaphobia taken over the Penthouse ???the Lagoon??? Even the Dungeon ???????

Mongo, oh Mongo, wherefore art thou Mongo ?

G33 have you bailed on uncle too ?

susan28 ????

At least Clarice is cleared up..looks potent given the right setting. And Gary has such a nice ring to it. Like a nice city in IN.

uncle had to go to the planet michigan for a few days...one of the better 1/2s uncles passed away unexpectedly. But shed no tears.
Uncle Dick was only 6 weeks shy of 80 yrs. 80% of a century. He had 4 main hobbies; womanizing, dancing, fighting & drinking...not necessarily in that order ! Bachelor his entire life, no KNOWN children. He'd of fit right in here, especially in the Dungeon.

I lift a KEG of "N"Sweat Lager in his honor !

Lots of cool wrecks tonight.

Body parts everywhere.

uncle, sorry about your 1/2.

VN350X10

Nothing to be sorry about. If we all live as long & have as much fun as he did, we'll have done it right !

He was one for not taking too much too seriously, especially those who took themselves too seriously.

Anyhow, glad that you're here tonight. uncle hated the idea of going solo to the full-moon party at the Lagoon bar tonight & needed a date!

join me in a cold slushie G33 ?

Sure.
But no alcohol.
Diet pepsi slushies are nice.
Or orange juice, berry juice, etc.

7 months is a mere pittance, this is a 5 year old thread my boy. You should stop in more often, have a beer, swim in the lagoon, have some DNA removal sessions;)

Oh pshaw! Our little Sarah is 7 months old ! What have you been doing for the previous part of this thread ? Perhaps you should quit wasting your free time & come here & party with us on a regular basis !
