There is a reason that the term is "pug ugly", however, being that it IS a dog, that still makes a pug better than a cat....

When it grows up, it becomes a cat"........

Owner can report to the Dungeon "Lost and Found" for recovery pending recovery fees, finders fees, and a contribution to the Pirate Retirement Fund (cleaver disguise for the embezzlement percentage owed to the 10-Ring High Condo Corporate Establishment).

IMPORTANT 10-RING FACILITY ADMINISTRATIVE ANNOUNCEMENT!

Permit me the temerity of interruping discussions of the tactical use of lemon icing and the Geezies' respective ages, to give an important notice.

The Dungeon Linguistics Unit, with support from the Dungeon Semantics Evaluation Team and the Dungeon Historical Research Division, has assembled a complete series of all the Merriam Webster Unabridged Dictionaries, starting with the very first 1806 edition, and currently ending with the 3rd International. We lowly (etc., etc.) Dungeon types are pleased to announce that this stupendous collection effort did not require ANY ADDITIONAL EMBEZZLEMENT OF 10-RING FUNDING WHATSOEVER! ... (Rabbi, that's not STRICTLY true.) ... How do you figure? ... (The dictionary acquisition effort was financed by our INVESTMENT INCOME from previously embezzled 10-Ring cash flow.) ... True, but the 10-Ringers don't care what happens after the initial embezzlement! Since OUR OWN INCOME from the previously embezzled funds is not IN ITSELF embezzled funds, it would show up on a different account in all 12 sets of books, and therefore would be irrelevant to such issues of legal status. ... (Hmmmm ... You may have a point there ... Sorry about the interruption.) ... Hey, no problem!

While the 10-Ring partyers (pardon my redundancy) may think this achievement to be secondary to the 10-Ring Way of Life, we wish to point something out: We now have the means of examining the FULL TWO CENTURY American history of words important to the 10-Ring existence! Words such as: salacious, lascivious, inebriation, sleazy, debauchery, and so forth. We will no longer be restricted to giving resort guests a merely current definition of such important words. We will now be able to provide a full description of the evolution and provenance of these important terms in the course of our partying! Such capabilities, while perhaps not the FOREMOST attributes of the 10-Ring blowouts, are nevertheless important details which place the 10-Ring Resort Facility in its distinctive (and highly envied) position among the world's luxury recreational resorts.

Althou uncle has been in rather an un-posting mode lately, may I at this time inform all parties interested that if our beloved G33 gets kicked, uncle is liable to NOT be held accountable for whatsoever actions that he might apply to the aforementioned "kickee".

And wheras uncle now is in possesion of a caliber even MORE formidable than a 10MM, and as of yet has not utilized said same in anger OR amusement, they, in fact, may be combined to render the aforementioned "kickee" into a gelatinous mass, suitable for application as organic fertilizer.

Lest anyone doubt the veracity of the caliber, it is known world over by it's three number designation:::

Three...Seventy...Five

and no, it's inventors name was NOT Howard Hughes, regardless of the initials.

Anything left over from the blast will be given to Mongo, to do with whatever he deems fitting !

Of course, there is a big difference between kicking and "getting your kicks" at, say, the High Condo.

Eng15etc, we Dungeon types are better off SNEAKING into the High Condo, rather than being invited. The Lagoon Hostesses really admire our intrepidness and initiative when we sneak into Penthouse events. We like it when the Lagoon Hostesses admire our surreptitious activities; trust my judgement on this.

Tazz, the Dungeon Linguistics Unit has devised an explanation for your seeming "altitude" inconsistency.

At this moment, you currently occupy the Penthouse ANNEX, a subsidiary operation of the glorious 10-Ring Resort operation. MOST of the amenities of the full Resort are available at the Annex. Of course, beer must be delivered in kegs, rather than the superb chilled pipeline service, but the Lagoon Hostesses on duty at the Annex have the most marvelous way of making you forget this deficiency!

Sammy,
Couldn't the Tahitian Lagoon girls get in on this as well? It would be a nice diversion from their usual hard work of laying around in their bikinis looking hawt...

Of course, if we get really desperate, would could ask to impinge upon Tazz (again), and ask to borrow his Hawaiin-Tropic lotion-girls... (It would only be a for a short while, Tazz!)

Oh, and one small correction Sammy. Six of Nine would be Seven's OLDER sister. Eight of Nine is the next younger sister... (You must be working too hard in the dungeon again! ---- What am I saying???!?! You work?!?!?!?)

Actually, MMA, Jeri Ryan personally told us that 6of9 is the younger sister; when Jeri Ryan tells us something, we listen! Maybe the Borg recruited them out of order.

While I do not work hard in my Dungeonly capacity, something did occur to affect my morale and self-esteem. A knowledgeable 10-Ringer achieved sobriety long enough to suggest the Penthouse Annex should be more properly titled the Penthouse ANNEXE. The classier spelling would look good during negotiations with the television networks for broadcasting 10-Ring Resort activities. I am despondent because I did not originally catch this detail.

Don't worry, Eng; we have the financing available to support the logistics of your fermentation efforts. In fact, our embezzlement cut of the 10-Ring take has been so enormous over the summer, we can blow a bunch of money on anything we Dungeon Types feel like! We could have simply reduced the embezzlement percentage, but giving back funds to the Penthouse crew would have been severely out of character for us; I mean, c'mon, the Penthouse people don't deserve that type of deference ... (Rabbi, you might consider re-phrasing those last couple sentences; what we are reading sounds a bit too ruthless.) ... Hmmmm, perhaps you are right ... Okay, how about this: The Dung Cru will use its favorable cash flow position to make major improvements to the Dungeon infrastructure which supports the Penthouse party operation. Such improvements, while perhaps not ABSOLUTELY necessary in the 10-Ring scheme of things, nevertheless will add additional aura and lustre to the marketing aspects of the 10-Ring Facility reputation for hospitality. ... Unkle, the Dungeon Crew has already done the admin work for the official Pre-Party.

Not meaning to brag, but I think the primitive 10-Ring mentality (pardon my redundancy) may get a kick out of the resourceful way the Dungeon types have set things up. The 10-Ring Resort is now partying at the unofficial pre-party lead-up for the approaching 6000th post. When the UNofficial pre-party ends, and the OFFICIAL pre-party begins, the only thing we will have to do is have a guy with a can of white spray-paint cover up the first two letters of the word UNOFFICIAL. Tazz, the Dungeon Surveilance ... Surveylance ... Serveylunce ... LOOKOUT Unit has requested me to make this post to the thread. Their concensus is that Bull was referring to his POST percentage of the 8:40PM postcount, and NOT to the alcohol percentage of the signature brew of the 10-Ring Resort Facility. The Dungeon Linguistics Unit concurs with this evaluation; all concerned Dungeon organizations will, of course, maintain their high state of diligence until this issue is fully resolved.

Sammi,
I know this needs go without mention, considering your DungCru's planning proclivities, but do not forget the 200,000th view party.

Not to mention, that the 6000th post and 200,000th view may occur nearly simultaneously, which means you'll have to contingency plan for a combined blow-out bash.

Better plan on the whole 10-Ring Lagoon, Penthouse, and the Tazz Remote Private Penthouse all having parties. (I'd recommend that you plan a party for the Dungeon, but I know it goes without saying that you'll have a fine after-party with all of the embezzlement profits from such a large party for the whole 10-Ring facility...)

MMA, of more immediate interest to the Penthouse types would be the PLANNING parties now underway in the Dungeon. While participation in such planning parties might seem to require a measure of sobriety in those doing the planning, we have discovered that participation by inebriated 10-Ringers (pardon my redundancy) actually augments the creativeness of the planning process; hey, sometimes sobriety can be a severe limitation on cooking up really fun stuff!

Hey Rabbi, that gives me an idea!

How good is the Indy Gun Show (lots of antiques, farm tractors, wristwatches, samurai swords - [OOPS, sorry], or do they have mostly guns and ammo? - Also, how good are the prices - real discounts, or actually higher to recover the cost of the tables?)

Also, when is it?

May be a good road trip for me and a buddy.

The show is Fri-Sun, Nov. 3-5, at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. It is a large show; it has been advertised as the largest gun show east of the Mississippi.

It is a GUN, KNIFE, and military-image CLOTHING AND GEAR show; there is a smattering of toy and flea market type stuff, but far less than most gun shows I have attended.

To be frank, there are few bargains on standard-type firearms; the exhibitors know their markets. There ARE bargains on odd-ball stuff, where no concensus market price exists; I have found some great buys (ex: a Pachemyr gun box for $50, standard military-issue Silencio ear protection for $3 NIB). The real strength of the show is in the enormous selection available.

Any out-of-staters will be at a disadvantage in buying a firearm at the show. Many exhibitors will sell only to Indiana residents; others will sell to you, but only with the intricate interstate FFL transfer dance.

I will be working the Glock Armorer table. E-mail me if planning to attend; I can reduce your admission and/or parking charges with a couple of insider wrinkles.

If you like, e-mail or PM your phone number to me, and I will give you a full briefing.

"Widmere" is reported to be the company that invented Hefeweisen, and a great one it is! We might want to consider getting their blessing if we want our Hefe to go public.

ROAD TRIP? Pick me up! Fire up The 10 Ring Bus! Make sure the hot tub in it is working too...

Toga's have tops? I thought they were always open?

Indy has the biggest gun show east of the Mississippi? It used to be Ohio, but it wouldn't suprise me if they fell off the horse. We here in Washington State have the biggest gun show on the west side. Awesome show! They even run the knife show with it! Hey, you guys have tractors? I need to get a new one...

Uncle is going top have to take a pass on Indy this year. Lost my best friend to complications from cancer on 10-16-06 & Mike's memorial service is on the 4th. Something about smoking & doing body & fender for 35 yrs just don't work well with the human body.
Kim wants me to speak at the service, as Mike & I were friends for about 45 yrs +/- (4th grade!) This is the friend who my son is named after & we shared MUCH of our mis-spent youth together, more than I dare tell at the service.......mostly due to the wives being present !(HAR-DE-HAR-HAR)

As it is inevitable, there are no tears, just great memories. If one is remembered, they do not die, but rather live forever in the hearts of their friends. I have contacted as much of our school circle of friends as still exist & many promise to be at the service; will be a nice touch.
Shooter, biker (on & off road) & drinking buddy amongst other things, to me, as I was an only child, also a brother.:bluesbrothers:

Uncle, your brother is our brother.

My heart goes out to you and yours and his. That is so sad.

Technically, though, he is most likely in a MUCH better place than this... so it stands to reason that maybe we should have a party for him celebrating his ascendence into The Great Penthouse in the Sky.

The January show is Jan. 12-14.

Philosophical issue to ponder: Gun show attendance versus salacious partying. Which should take precedence?

Show attandance of course.......

One must have a sufficiant quantity of components/ammo on hand to repel those who would dare to interfere with the partying......

this is one of the advantages to being able to shoot strong hand/weak hand as the situation merits, so as to NOT spill the "N"Sweat Lager !

Rabbi did some photographic work back in the '60s. The standard excuse for such conditions: Blame it on the lighting!

POSTSCRIPT: Eleven posts to go for the 6000 mark. Since it would be boorish in the extreme for this lowly (blah, blah, etc.) Dungeon Type to hit that magic post number, I will refrain from posting on this thread until the milestone has been reached.

I will, in my position of 10-Ring technical assistant, offer to supply the necessary measuring insturments & personally preform the proper, necessary & delicate, precision calibrations, on an as-needed/as requested/as is desirable basis, including the necessary tooling & adapter/fixture fitting to the subject of measurement as required. Given my experience & expertiese in the field of tooling & fixturing, it would in fact be unfair & unkind to require any of my esteemed 10-Ring associates to preform such a lowly task, as would best be handled by myself personally.

Tazz actually is a photographer and had his own studio in LA a few years back. Tazz is also an accomplished hands on expert in the science of ( * )( * )ology. Here is a picture of Tazz hard a work to prove it. :hugs:

Let me tell you, it is not the lighting. It is also not the "positioning"... although the positioning does seem to be a bit off. It is also not the pose, or the posture, the suspension, or the uniform.

I will do the initial examination, evaluation, and touchy feely stuff, and then send her over to Uncle for further study. I'm thinking a simple prescription of ( * ) Sweat Sweet Elixer will probably return balance to the equilibrium and maintain it in the continuum.

I'm sure between the two we will figure it out. After all, it is a labor of love.
