The Dungeon logistics people have concluded we are still in the 15,000th post party. The 15,000th post post-party cannot begin until such time as the follow-up logistics plan is approved by the Joint Penthouse/Dungeon Admin Coordination Team. This coordination can be tricky, as we must be careful NOT to allow admin to interfere with the intensive 10-Ring bombastic debauched partying (pardon my multiple redundancies.)

On a different note...California...Louisiana
California:

The Governor of California is jogging with his dog
along a nature trail.

A coyote jumps out and attacks the Governor's dog,
then bites the Governor.

1. The Governor starts to intervene, but reflects upon
the movie "Bambi" and then realizes he should stop because
the coyote is only doing what is natural.

2. He calls animal control. Animal Control captures
the coyote and bills the State $200 testing it for diseases
and $500 for relocating it.

3. He calls a veterinarian. The vet collects the dead
dog and bills the State $200 testing it for diseases.

4. The Governor goes to hospital and spends $3,500,
getting checked for diseases from the coyote and on getting
his bite wound bandaged.

5. The running trail gets shut down for 6 months while
Fish &Game conducts a $100,000 survey to make sure the
area is now free of dangerous animals.

6. The Governor spends $50,000 in state funds
implementing a "coyote awareness program" for residents of
the area.

7. The State Legislature spends $2 million to study
how to better treat rabies and how to permanently eradicate
the disease throughout the world.

8. The Governor's security agent is fired for not
stopping the attack. The State spends $150,000 to hire and
train a new agent with additional special training re: the
nature of coyotes.

9. PETA protests the coyote's relocation and files a
$5 million suit against the State.

Louisiana:

The Governor Bobby Jindel is jogging with his dog along
a nature trail. A Coyote jumps out and attacks his dog.

1. The Governor shoots the coyote with his State
issued pistol and keeps jogging. The Governor has spent
$0.50 on a .45 ACP hollow point cartridge.

2. The buzzards eat the dead coyote.

And that, my friends, is why California is broke and Louisiana is not. http://www.bayoushooter.com/forums/images/smilies/kekekegay.gif http://www.bayoushooter.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Okay, so let's say we make a silver bullet. If the velocity is too high, then it will "lead" our bore (clouds can have silver linings, but it is bad for gun barrels).
So, naturally, we need to analyze if we want to jacket this silver bullet. Will the jacket negate the silver's magic qualities if we run into a werewolf? Should we have the soft silver tip exposed, and jacket the rest?

Already have the logistics of the situation covered, Unkle.

An old story from early in the 20th century: The parents of Jewish kids in the New York City public schools would ensure that soap made from NON-pigfat sources was available in all the schools. That way, the kosher rules would not be broken if a teacher had to wash a wise-guy Jewish kid's mouth out with soap!

The Jewish experience in America has a few salient points:

- The Jewish immigrants were lucky enough to catch the big-city public schools at their peak of quality.

- The old-fashioned "learning-by-rote" method, now heavily discredited, did in fact have a lot going for it.

- We were lucky enough to be able to "organize" ourselves, rather than the current method of depending on outside sources to step in to "organize" us.

- In life, as in surgery, knowing what to cut away and what to leave can be trickey; it is entirely too easy to cut too deep.

IMPORTANT DUNGEON CONFESSION OF MISCONDUCT

I am using CTM's post count run-up to mask a Dungeon confession.

In keeping with the NO Saints bounty system, I am confessing to something comparable: the Dungeon has been running a bounty system for its members inducing 10-Ringers into a state of sobriety. This heinous nefarious setup has been in place since the conclusion of the last Dungeon Insurrection.

I place myself under the proper judgement of the 10-Ring, in my capacity as Senior 10-Ring Dungeon Resident, as a proper recipient of punishment for the Dungeon's role in such a travesty of conduct. I do plead for mercy on grounds of: We have never successfully induced a 10-Ringer into a state of sobriety through our actions; this failure to actually achieve anything may count for something at sentencing.

NO Saints bounty system, shouldn't that read the NFL's bounty system? The Saints are not to only ones to utilize the this process. Besides they are playing some of the best ball of their team history, so they get spanked and no other teams get called to the gridiron... :dunno:

Personally the entire NFL, NHL, NBA, MBL could all go away, but Obamy needs the distractions so he can get re-elected! :wow: Oh well!

Maybe so ... or maybe not! Geesie controls the Chamber Punishment Qualification Process, and lately she has been demanding resourcefulness and creativity in "victim" actions instigated in hopes of being convicted and sentenced to Chamber incarceration. So be thorough in your effort to get "punished".

For sure, Dude! That "pre-blast sound effect" can frequently induce the intruder to instantly vacate the premises, thus making the actual blast unnecessary to stabilize the tactical situation. Every punk in the country recognizes the pitch, harmonics, and rythm of that distinctive audio effect.

My wife's Remington 1100 will crack an O-ring from time to time and then the gas piston doesn't work. It functions great as a single shot.

there is a big difference between a Model 11, and a Model 1100. The first big difference is the Model 11 doesn't have any Gas rings because it is recoil operated.

We think you mean ... unless a declaration is APPROVED by Her Majesty Geesie I. The Dungeon types like your style; your proposed punishment is suited to the 10-Ring concept of existence.

In order to have this punishment fully credentialed as a standard 10-Ring penalty action, it will have to be validated. Several of the Dungeon Peons have declared themselves willing to be flogged by Mrs. Countrygun, and would therefore serve as "beta-test" subjects to ascertain optimum pasta configuration for the most comprehensive flogging satisfactio ... whoops! ... punishment!

Unkle, on Mondays, the inebriated debauched 10-Ringers (pardon my multiple redundancies) would still be impaired from weekend partying, but enough of the sober boring Dungeon staff (again, pardon my multiple redundancies) would have avoided being snookered into hanging at the 10-Ring Lagoon blowouts to carry the administrative load in support of Her Majesty's proclamations.

We welcome you to comprehension of the professionalism of the Dungeon administrative operation. We are proud of our standing here in the 10-Ring; even the marginally coherent 10-Ringers (pardon my redundancy) have come to realize that raucous inebriated debauched revelry can have the stamina to last in the LONG run ONLY if it has comprehensive logistical and administrative support. We in the Dungeon like to believe the 10-Ringers treat our 39% embezzlement rate from their cash flow as "administrative overhead". So far, EVERYONE seems content.
