We believe the results confirm the increased effect of the higher strength, but we are encountering problems when attempting to coherently write up the results. We will get back to you when we get an increased grant allowance.

Memo to Rabbi: I tried the 100 proof cough medicine at one time. It had a tendency to cause blackouts for me. I don't know if it is a bovine thing or what, but the last time I used the 100 proof, I woke up with a terrible headache, and the grille to a 58 Buick stuck to my horns. Ever since then, I have tried to scale back, if I can do that to a 58 Buick, lord knows what would happen if I tangled with a compact.

After having personally experimen...ah...tested cough syrup approaching 190+ proof, as supplied by an old apothacary in the hills of KY, my personal determination is that the effects of the cough diminish in direct proportion to the strength of the medication; However, the quantity consumed will also show a SLIGHT effect on the ability to remember how bad the cough was...

It IS a good look for your portfolio. The squared-off, formally closed-up, tightly disciplined all-right-angle persona you project has its appeal to those of us who can occasionally break away from the salacious 10-Ring (pardon my redundancy) outlook on life.

I think you will also find it a versatile ensemble for your career. When the mood strikes, you can leave an end-flap or two slightly undone (in a suggestive but still dignified sort of way, of course.) If you want to push it up a notch, you could show some "cartridge", maybe a little "rim" if you REALLY want to push the envelope, and then (of course) if you really want to walk on the wild side, you could give a quick flash of "primer" without, I believe, getting the thread shut down by a shocked moderator. Worth the risk, don't you think?

Now, now, Sammy... You've drank too much a-hem, "cough-syrup" again. Need I remind you this is GLOCKTalk, and polymer is ALWAYS permitted here, even in the 10-Ring dungeon. (But of course, a nice bit of A-Grip material over the polymer sheets would have added that sensual "something" that really makes or breaks the encounter...)

Hmmmm.... (Note to self: Call Tazz and see if A-Grip material can be obtained in King-Size fitted sheets.)

Thanks for the comeback, Bull.

As the festivities gain strength approaching the New Year's Eve gala Lagoon blowout, permit me to wish a happy new year to all those wonderful folks (sober ... and otherwise) who inhabit the marvelous 10-Ring Facility. I will be working this event, believe it or not! We needed blackjack dealers, dice boxmen, and roulette croupiers, so I decided to set a good example to the lethargic inebriated 10-Ringers (pardon my redundant redundancy) by doing useful work BECAUSE IT IS NEEDED! Stop by the casino and say hello.

A special bonus for the 10-Ring regulars: When I am running the dice table, I will allow you to place a full-odds bet WITHOUT requiring the formality of an actual pass line bet! It don't get any better than that!

No problem! It was actually quite intriguing for the admin staff, in an oblique neo-existentialist sort of way. It sure beats dealing with the inert hung-over 10-Ringers on a STANDARD morning after a 10-Ring weekend blowout. We are proud of ourselves: we resisted the temptation to accept the proferred bribes for the early spots in the "punishment" line. Hey, our standard 39% cut of the take is good enough for us!

The celebration of the 8:40 Thread is coming up; I thought (being a brunette I can), I would re-decorate The Chamber. Along this line, I could pass various motifs by the Committee for Nuiances of the Finest(CNuF). Or not? I realize we have many other functions planned, but this little effort would be just a small distraction for the weary workers. Just enclose a note with the crushed flowers Mongo brings me, or a small footnote hidden in an Administrative Announcement. Those are generally not read more than three times.

Actually, G29, your scheduling offer for your Chamber Redecoration would come in very handy for this Thursday evening. Our weekday events schedule this week has been a bit slow, since it is caught between the 5-day New Years Blowout and the Big 8:40PM 3rd Anniversary Soiree' this weekend. We were down to just two events this Thursday evening: 1) A lecture on the Neo-Existentialist influence on 21st Century Western Philosophy (scheduled for the auditorium), and 2) the Dim Sum Fight Championships (scheduled for the Arena). YOUR event would fill the entertainment gap quite nicely!

Also, the ASS Group and the TIT Crew asked me to express their gratitude for your PUBLIC acknowledgement of their research and survey efforts. They usually get dumped on as a bunch of lascivious sleazeballs; it was gracious of you to publicly honor them with your greeting.

Actually, Bull, at the risk of sounding pedantic, the inherent inconsistency contained within your post can be resolved with a minor phrase change.

"I need a beer": obviously untrue given your current post-weekend orientation.

"I want a beer": now THAT the hung-over 10-Ring celebrants (pardon my redundancy) can understand!

IMPORTANT 10-RING FACILITY ADMINISTRATIVE ANNOUNCEMENT:

The European Space Organization Mars orbiter has confirmed the existence of water on the planet's surface.

This seemingly arcane bit of news is important to the 10-Ring. You don't believe me? Contemplate this: water is an ABSOLUTELY VITAL component in the production of beer.

Mrs. Bullman was covering the action, with what I don't know, maybe she was holding out some dough I didn't know about. Anyway, Rabbi, you think I could get a raise?

Another thing I must mention, it seems Mrs. Bullman (that svelte little jersey) was beginning to wonder why I was spending so much time in the alternate universe known as the 10 ring. She has been checking up on me and was beginning to wonder if maybe I was drug in here by the escapades of G29 and G33. When I swore it wasn't what she thought, she suggested that maybe G33 post some pictures of himself, not that I would really care to see any (no offence) but, Mrs. Bullman thought it might be nice for any of the female members that might wander in to the 10 ring facility. This may be tough to do right now, Bull. The 10-Ringers are getting REALLY interested in the Dungeon financial operation. In fact, 3 of them have pledged to stay sober for the ENTIRE superbowl weekend so they can police our embezzlement operation and, conceivably, even learn something about maintaining a smoothly operating cash flow condition. I personally think the 3 of them can't pass up beer for an entire 4-day party period, but they DO seem determined, so we'll see what happens.

We can give you a ONE-SHOT financial boost, though, since we can't give you an immediate raise. Just put a healthy bet on one of the 10-to-1 (or better) proposition bets that the Dungeon bookie operation ... Whoops! The DUNGEON STATISTICAL FUNDING SERVICE! ... is covering for the superbowl. Here's the beauty of it: It doesn't matter how you bet! The Dung Cru will shift the records around after the game so that your bet will be a winning one! This is NOT an original concept of the Dung Cru; rather, we studied what was done with the Hillary Clinton speculation on cattle futures back in 79.

Yo, Uncle! We are overjoyed to hear that you will be a member of the 10-Ring Financial Oversight Commission this weekend. As you so eloquently pointed out, the big game ITSELF is usually a bore; in fact, the only reason the Dungeon Crew watches is to stay up to date on the commercials.

We will, of course, stand ready to try to slip some really creative embezzlement and accounting moves past the Oversight crew the 10-Ring has dumped on us for the weekend. We are honored and ecstatic that YOU will have a place within the survey personnel. The presence of so capable an adversary as yourself adds zest to what, in your absence, would inevitably descend to common, routine financial slight-of-hand moves.

As always, the food and beverage service will cater to your every whim. The Lagoon Hostess also look forward to showering you with every possible attention.

Rabbi, I have procurred something that I think will assist us in the creative embezzlement department. I recently loaded some 10mm ammo laced with Rohibnol. I think the dungeon crew should sponser a shooting match prior to the big game in the indoor range facility. Simply turn down or turn off the ventilation, and the rohibnol laced gunsmoke will put the oversight committee in la la land during the game. I hope this is useful.

If you need a member of the dungeon crew to go along to put the committee at ease, I will volunteer my services. All I ask is that once I pass out from the fumes ( I will try to do this near a hand cart so I don't give anyone a hernia ) please wheel me back to my stall, Mrs. Bullman will know what to do ( that svelte little jersey ).

Well, as all wives do, Mrs. Bullman (that svelte little jersey, I hope I am spelling that right) had to find out why I was spending so much time at the 10 ring facilities. I am now trying to convince her that it isn't just about all the drinking, lagoon girls and what have you, it is being a part of a well oiled establishment that represents the pinnacle of handgun cartridge developement.

Bull, that is indeed an excellent plan, but the Dung Cru has decided to NOT use it this Sunday. We want the 10-Ring Financial Oversight Committee ALERT on Sunday, for only if they are alert will we be able to revel in our success in slipping our smooth accounting and embezzling moves past them. Sort of, like, FOOLING them is more important than the actual financial gain which accrues to the Dungeon in doing so! I will even venture this observation: the gung-ho hypervelocity 10-Ring mentality will appreciate this type of outlook, even if we ARE ripping them off.

Uncle, that is hilarious! "full accounting per normal 10-Ring standards & procedures." The Dung Cru was on the floor with laughter for almost 20 minutes for that one! You know the old jokes about "the shortest book in the world"? Well, "10-Ring Accounting Standards" qualifies!

The Dungeon Security Crew has found your alfalfa truck. The ;n driving it apparently stopped off at the lagoon for a drink, and the Lagoon Hostesses hijacked him for one of their "entertainment sessions", because they like his "style". What that means exactly is unknown to us; you know, the Lagoon Hostesses do pretty much as they please! They even have Mongo psyched!

Let me get this straight. The Rabbi is putting the '59 L.R. on his tab, & he has an accelerated deduction setup for the monkey-lease.
Bullman is wrighting off his alfalfa allotment, probably as a business dinner expense, G29 & G33 are taking the Rabbi out to dinner.
Sounds like the only expenses that I'll be able to deduct are the Mongo prepped stupor bawl goodies & the advanced accounting procedural lessons for the dung cru.
Both should be considered as educational expenses & therefore easily deductible.
If the dung cru lessons worked as they should have, I should be able to deduct about 10,000% of the actual cost. This is the advantage of using the accounting services of Dung,Cru & Associates

Uncle, the Dung Cru wishes to express its appreciation of its accounting achievements. We believe we give superb value for our 39% cut; it is pleasant to hear you verify our belief. On the long awaited meal.
Part I
(sanitized version)

G33 and I flew out to meet Mongo at the Ten-Ring Airport. Mongo had the Hummer2 Limo. And, the crushed flowers he is always so kind to hand me. What a sweetie he is!

Mongo was tongue tied by G33's princess-top black dress that Dearest Rabbity(DR) had commented on. I had a simple fitted a-line v-neck in sand color that looked so good on Cathrine Zeta-Jones in that movie we just saw. Heels and real silk; nothing more boys.

We picked up DR and wisked back to the airport; yes, DR in the middle. Next was the short flight to Maxim's in Paris. Did I mention that G33 was frisky? Role reversal? Hard to say; but so was DR!

The meal was marvelous. Veal, baguettes, on and on. Lots of wine.
Dress almost got tight. Next we were off in the Lear to Thailand and one of the condos on the South China Sea. I think you have seen shots of it.

Mongo made a really nice sandcastle. DR was seen to smile constantly. Did I mention that G33 was shameless? Anyhow, music and drinks and the most beautiful weather ensued.

Dancing was at the...

Dancing...had no idea G33 could move in those ways...Mongo was visibly impressed...that takes a lot! G33 did the fast dances and I got the slow ones with Mongo and DR. Nice! Mongo needed the rest poor thing. Did I mention G33 was hot!!!!????

Dancing is hot play...so to the beach condo for a swim. I wore the black one piece that DR likes so much. G33 went with the ... well Mongo fainted twice...what can I say? {What we really want to know is how the two thin straps on G's dress held up??? Well most of the time.}

As sunrise approached, we found Mongo in one of the two King size beds...no room for DR. So, G33 promised to behave and DR went in the middle of the second King. Did I mention that G33 lied to me?

Well, phone...

G33 will you please...
What do you mean you are sore all over?

G29

Part III
(cont.)
Phone...G do you have any idea of the time difference between Thailand and Hawaii? OK, catch you later.
{G is a mess; take her out of academia and...};Q

So, where was I? We woke up, maybe, refreshed (not likely) and headed off to the Lear and Hawaii; the next condo; not sure but you may have seen those shots also. Mongo was grinning; something about the 35mm and the shots he got of DR?!

Well, any of you been to the Royal Hawaiian Hotel? The pink one on the beach. Great brunch and on the sand. Full spa treatment for all; took several for Mongo and DR. They were the worst for wear. And I swear, G33 was as bright and frisky as ever. Did I mention she has a high energy level?

So back to the Lear, and dropped DR off at the Ten-Ring Lagoon and Mongo joined us in some shopping and chores. DR was a bit worn around the edges. Our deepest apologies to the Dung Cru if he is out of service for awhile. We suspect he blew a fuse in his pace-maker or such? We have a bunch of little party favors for all the Crew.

The Crew does not need to worry about the expenses; rest easy; no need to raise the Rate (wink/wink). As G33 and I both have to file quarterly due to the income we generate, it will be no problemo to cover.

Was a marvolous time; Mongo can really crack a smile when given the chance. DR is a super slow dancer. And G33 is just a hoot. (hot?)

Just two little things: Mongo let the 35mm film go through that new TSA machine and the guys at the magazine say we may never recover the 200+ photos we had. Also, remember the Hummer2 Limo at the airport when we picked up DR? Well, oh gosh, Mongo closed the door on poor DR's head; he did not wake up until we dropped him back at the Ten-Ring Lagoon...
Did I mention this was the Weekend At Bernie's?

eng, no worries, this thread is sufficently overengineered that there's nothing to worry about as we head full speed towards the great event. I have begun the research and sketching phases of the speech I shall give once I obtain my goal of crossing this thread into it's 3rd age. for now all I can say is hopefuly the bright new era which is ahead of us will see even less of the dung piles corruption and more modelish type photos ( black and white) more to follow......

I am deeply disturbed my what I have seen on this thread, especially the cheerleaders. As being deeply disturbed seems to be a requrement for posting to this thread, I guess I meet the minimum.

I long to wallow in the Lagoon. I know my ticket is out there: a Glock 30 with my name on it. Unfortunately, my name is WGQ xxx, so it's going to be a while. Meanwhile, I have these two orange pre-ban NDF/NFML G20 mags sitting in my safe, and the wife is starting to ask questions. Questions like, "you've had these magazines for two years, why haven't they ever been used?" and "How much did you pay for them?"

Anyway, I like you crazy bastards, so I thought I'd give you first crack at them. The going rate seems to be $100 to $160, but let me know you are from the 10 ring, and you can have them for $90 each, shipped and insured. E-mail me at mbmcginnes@aol.com if you want them.

As long as we are counting post numbers, it makes me remember fond things about years. Take 1943 for example since this is post number 1943 (provided nobody currently typing beats me to the submit button, in which case this post that hardly means anything will mean that much less) 1943, the war years and a point in history that I am particularly fond of. I think if there was ever any sort of previous life thing, I was a fighter pilot during world war 2, I can't get enough of that WWII aviation history. If I was a pilot then, I would want to carry a 10mm pistol for those bail out emergencies, but since the 10mm wasn't invented yet then, I guess if I did have a previous life as a fighter pilot, I was a really pissed off one because I didn't have a 10mm pistol. Kind of like I am really pissed off now because I don't currently own one. But you know what, things are getting better, I am about to get some bills paid off, and I might just have to jump off and get either a 1066 (if I can find one that once belonged to a WWII fighter pilot) or maybe a G29, (the gun, not the super model that posts here).

joey'sGlock23
02-28-2004, 23:34
the gun is easier to come by, plus from what I understand the other g29 has a habit of releving you of your firearms if you aren't very careful, (she can be oh so sneaky)

I have often found that having a twisted mind gives stability to your thoughts. This of course depends on the rate of twist, depth of thought and the weight you give your thoughts.

I agree, it is indeed time to negotiate. My vacation/abduction on your round-the-world air voyage was simultaneously exhausting AND invigorating! (For those who cannot comprehend how it could be BOTH, just permit me to say ... wink wink nudge nudge hint hint say no more ...)

I will, of course, assume administrative responsibility for the logistic aspects of the negotiations. The most exclusive of the 10-Ring Resort private dining rooms will be on call for our negotiating sessions, and the discretion of our service and culinary staff will insure that all proceedings remain free of nosy 10-Ring interference (pardon my redundancy.) The quisine and wine selection will be of the standard expected from our world-class facility, and will enable our negotiations to proceed in a most elevating and fulfilling manner.

I await your accordance with these proceedings.

Actually, Bull, the lack of response to your original post is NOT due to being grossed out. You made the mistake of posting your original question on a Friday, thus running into the usual incoherent 10-Ring outlook on life (pardon my redundancy) that is a normal aspect of the weekend Lagoon Blowout partying. The bombastic status of this weekend's partying was accentuated by the increased probability that the 1994 Firearms Law will not be renewed, due to the congressional action this week. The thought of obtaining newly legal 13 and 15 round mags for the G20s and 29s had the 10-Ringers on a MAJOR high! Hey, even the 45 types attending the blowout (in a purely administrative capacity, of course) were whooping it up in an ALMOST 10-Ringer-like exuberance! We Dungeon types were, of course, less bombastic than the Penthouse gang at this weekend's blowout. After all, we do have administrative duty to keep the refreshments flowing, the necessity of posting our embezzled take into the proper Island accounts, and our desire to maintain a properly balanced appreciation of the subtle nuances of reality.

Me not Rabbi; me Mongo. Rabbi been busy with important 10-Ring Facility business: running beer logistics, carrying admin load for 12-day Lagoon party finally wrapping up today, negotiating with Lagoon Hostesses for special treatment, coordinating kinky Borg week-long "4-way" shared-conciousness shtick at party, protecting inebriated 10-Ringers (pardon Mongo redundancy) from getting run over by food/beverage delivery vehicles, preparations for 2000th post Blowout, long lead time setup to celebrate September demise of 94 Weapons Ban, working table at gun shows, etc.

Rabbi also spending much time on some detail of accounting / finance / cash-flow / embezzling; Mongo not really understand what is going on. When Mongo encounter problem, Mongo just throw it behind piano and then shove; clearly Rabbi have different approach to solving problem than Mongo. But, hey, Rabbi know what him doing.

Mongo concerned that 10-Ringers getting all in twist over approaching 2000th post. Mongo suggest 10-Ringers simply relax, drop all frantic "push" stuff, and try to savor subtle nuances of road to 2000. Perhaps this not easy for gung-ho flat trajectory immediate gratification 10-Ring mentality, but Mongo think it worth effort to master.

Mongo wish to congratulate JG23 on notable achievement of getting three CONSECUTIVE monkey posts. Mongo conclude talent will inevitably show through; Joey success demonstrate this true.

Mongo think this motif not fit as well in 10-Ring facility as it did in movie. Mongo no want extraneous distraction in view on film when Bullman bounce unstable 10-Ringers (pardon Mongo redundancy) off rodeo arena floor. Would detract from appreciation of subtle nuances of 3-wall bank shots.

Mongo raring to go on this one. G29 name time and place, Mongo be there. Whatever Rabbi and G33 got going is irrelevant to Mongo outlook on existance. Besides, Mongo believe TWO menage a'deux superior to ONE menage a'quatre. That just how Mongo think; other opinion may vary.
