New G19 owner

Well, I just picked up one of the "tainted" G19s with the 1 before the pentagon on the bbl. The previous owner claims its been 100% reliable with HP ammo.

I was also lucky enough to pick up a 4th Gen Sidearmor which is a great holster. It's for a G17 but my G19 fits in there just fine - I also have a G17 so the holster will multi-task. Except for my Milt Sparks VMII it's the best holster I own. The adjustable cant is tough to beat. I've had other adjustable holsters but none that worked this well.

The G19 seems like a perfect CCW gun, it's big enough to handle full power loads and small enough to conceal. Tough to beat it! I'm planning on using it at a shooting class this weekend being taught by Chuck Taylor from ASAA. My guess is perform just fine.

I have no doubt that it will perform excellently... learn your pistol well... and practice practice practice... go on ammoman.com and get a couple bulk packs of ammo.

I buy the Winchester White Box 100 round packs and keep plenty on hand since I have more than one 9mm.

The Chuck Taylor Course went just fine over the weekend. The G19 preformed flawlessly with FMJ and JHP ammo, even with one mag with the old followers.

I'm thrilled with the purchase.

I have an EMBxxx Glock 19 with a 1 on the barrel and it has been extremely reliable. Had it quite a while before I heard about G19 problems. Yours sounds just as good.

Yup yup... WWB is good stuff! My local Wallyworld just cant seem to keep it in stock. When they DO have it they usually just have 3 or 4 boxes on hand. I usually buy all they have.

No doubt. It took the place of my G17 in the nightstand and is my back up CHL gun. The more I shoot it, the more I like it.

Congratulations on your purchase, you made an excellent choice. My FCA G-19 also has the 1 on the barrel and I've never had a FTF or an FTE with it. In my opinion, the G-19 is a fantastic pistol and my G-17 hasn't seen much use since I bought the G-19.
