THE BLOODHOUND
{ Old Blue and the Boss )

This bloodhound I know-name of Bo-

He can trail in the heat or the snow;

And the boss, he can tell
by the sound of the bell,

If the track is a hot one, or no.

Wiath an outlaw loose and hiding,

Or a child reported lost-

They'll be loaded up and riding;

No matter what the cost.

When the boss has got the scene secure;

And Bo has got the scent-

Relax, for you can be sure,

They'll figger where they went.

When the outlaw has been gathered,

Or the child returned to love;

They may feel a little weathered,

If push has come to shove.

------------000-----------------

Now Bo is due a well earned rest

for he has met and passed the test;

The boss, he'll get no rest or fun

Till all the paperwork is done..........jack powell

AN OLD INDIAN IS TELLING HIS GRANDSON ABOUT

A FIGHT WHICH IS GOING ON INSIDE HIMSELF---

HE SAID IT IS BETWEEN TWO WOLVES.

THE ONE WOLF IS EVIL: ANGER, ENVY, SORROW,

GREED, ARROGANCE, SELF-PITY, GUILT, RESENTMENT,

LIES, FALSE PRIDE, SUPERIORITY, AND EGO......

THE OTHER WOLF IS GOOD: JOY, PEACE, LOVE, HOPE

SERENITY, HUMILITY, KINDNESS, BENEVOLENCE,

EMPATHY, GENOROSITY, TRUTH, COMPASSION, FAITH

AND TRUST.

THE GRANDSON THOUGHT THIS FOR A MINUTE AND THEN

ASKED HIS GRANDFATHER, "WHICH WOLF WINS?"

THE OLD INDIAN SIMPLY REPLIED, "THE ONE I FEED." JACK
