Funny. I got a different feeling. He said he voted against a bill that would have protected gun manufacturers from frivolous lawsuits because it had an AWB rider ammendment (riders--now there's something to ban). OF course, maybe he just wants to have tons of lawsuits--dunno. LOCIS or MegaVote would have links to the full text of the bill, MegaVote would also have your elected officials voting record. Check it out, it's often quite scary.

If society were right minded, AWB would go away--forever. The statistics I've seen show that it didn't make a lick of difference, which I could have told them was going to be the case. There is some LE in here who can probably shed more light. Sadly, IMO society isn't too right minded anymore.

So, I'll keep practicing reloading with my crippled mags.

Santorum says he voted against Feinstein's amendment, which would have reauthorized the AWB. If he were for the AWB, he would've voted for Feinstein's amendment.

His position is stated very plainly in the letter, and he has a long record of supporting gun owner's rights, including voting against the AWB, so somehow, you're misreading what he says in the letter.

senate will have alot more important things to do than re-enactment of AWB. besides if it does come up kerry and edwards will be no shows or umpteenth time proven double talkers.
