This sorta borders close to the blue line but is something I have always liked
(I have no idea where it came from, the words just kinda showed up in my head)
His heart empty he wanders lost in thoughts of missing her. The impish smile on her lips and the glint in her eyes etched in the walls of his mind, the image or her standing in a field with the wind blowing her hair about her face like a silken Scarlet scarf, and pressing her dress to her, revealing her wondrous form to him, The light of Luna bathes her face in an alabaster shine.
His eyes fill with tears and his empty heart aches at the solitary feeling the night brings.
His pace quickens as the clouds pass before the moon, darkening the night and stealing the images from his mind, sightless, mindless he runs panting and gasping for breath, stumbling and falling through the wood till he stumbles through into a clearing.
Falling into the dew covered grass he lifts his head and howls in anguish and loss, the tears stream from his eyes to fall shamelessly upon the ground to mix with the dew, his breath drawn in ragged gasps he cries.
He staggers to his feet continuing to wander and search, with a break in the shadowy covering of clouds Luna shines a shaft of her light to shine upon a single towering bough just rising over the top of a rise
His heart rises and pace quickens as his feet fly him up the rise and across the field, Luna's light a beacon of hope in the empty reaches of his soul.
As he crests the rise he sees in the light of the moon, I single towering solitary Oak tree dominating the field with its presence surrounded with blooms of wild flowers those vivid colors shine even in the shadless light of the night.
His pace slows, not daring to hope, his eyes scan the view before him and yet through swirling mists surrounding the base of the Oak his eyes catches a glimpse of something, He slowly moves down the rise his eyes locked to shape hidden in the mist trying to make out what the night only allows for fleeting, teasing images of,
Suddenly a gust of the night air parts the mists revealing to him the form of his beloved slumbering among the roots and mosses. Slowly he moves to her side his body trembling and his eyes again brimming but with the warm tears of joy for the sight of her.
Slowly he moves to her side and ever cautious to her slumber slips in beside her, to lay and feel her heart beating in rhythm with his.
His fears and flight of wild abandon through the night forgotten as he breathes deep of her aroma, he lightly kisses her cheek and his lips move against her skin as he whispers I love you with all my heart.
Her eyes half lidded with sleep she turns to him and their lips meet in a soft lingering kiss,as their pulses quicken the kiss become a pasonate affair of lip and tounge each searching and probing the other till their breaths come in gasps and hearts pound as if to escape from with in the cage of flesh and bone surounding it,
Two bodies heaving and writhing together as one in the throses of pasion, onward they travel together to the very hights of pasion, small cries escape; as the sumit of the journey is reached together they cry out in love her voice rising to blend with the sound of a distant night owl crying in the hunt, while his matches low throughty sounds of a nearby wolf.
Spent the passion calms to be replaces with a contented love as their hands and mouths trace the lines of each other,
snuggled together a shower of leaves fall from the branches of the oak as if a blanket has been laid apon them.
A small dreamy smile graces her face and her arms cling tightly to his as he wraps her in an embrace, Their slumber soothed by the song of the nights creatures
Together under Luna’s ever watchful gaze and the Mighty Oak soaring above their heads they sleep sharing dreams of love while they cling tightly to each other.
