I just went and bought a hex screw driver at Sears yesterday and got a 3/16 one.

They had a "professional" one that has a nice grip and it was on clearance for 97 cents. Great deal. Grinded it down to make the edge flush and it is great, best dollar this weekend.

or go to someplacxe like tractor supply and they got some hex head bolts about 1 1/2" long with the same hex head socket. Grind down the head to go into the G17 slide. Cost me 35 cents and severall minetes work on the grinder. Works great though

And they're free, if you buy Ameriglos. :)

Sorry, forgot that one, but yeah, that's a shamelessly good reason and they're good sights to boot. ^c

That's pretty sad considering the half-life of Tritium. Considering there are lots of good ones from reputable providers out there (Ameriglo, Meprolight, Trijicon, Heinie's using Triji tubes) you should have no problem. For the $$ I find Ameriglo's have a very crisp appearance, with minimal white dot to clutter the actual sight picture. CGR Heinie Straight 8's would probably be the only ones better at lack of clutter, and probably a good choice for a combo service/target pistol. :) And FWIW, the Ameriglo on my 19's nose seems brighter than the Trijis on a P9-Covert I have. YMMV
