Don't know where you're at, or if you've got any Academys around, but I recently found an Uncle Mike's nylon holster for my Makarov priced at $11.00. Nice little holster for the price.

I actually have found that Uncle Mike's is pretty good stuff, for the most part.

Another question....

From what I understand SO FAR, 95g hollow point is the bullet to use.

Some shooters have said that Brown Bear is good ammo...it's 115g.

So what do I do...? I'm so confused?...Please help me before I go nuts......Why does life have to be so confusing??

What is the preferred ammo, or does it really matter?

I read that Maks are designed to shoot a 95g bullet, nothing heavier.....??

I'm in Southern Oregon and Northern Idaho...

No Academys here, but Unc Mikes is mfgd in Oregon, and everyone sells Unc. Mikes'.

I WAS interested in a case of Brown Bear......I think I'll just stick with the Barnauls, which I haven't tried yet....sounds like it's foolproof.
