Leather or canvas? And where to find?
Suggestions please.
Also still looking for butt swivel and lanyard for the '17.

Have fzr357 whip up an IWB for you ;)
I had him make an IWB for my G17 and it turned out beautiful.

El Paso Saddlery and holsters also still makes their WW1 and WW2 issue holsters, which I assume would fit one of those.

Patton bought his holsters from them (they've been IN business since the Old West wasn't Old... as they say, they don't make repro cowboy holsters, they just took their old models and started making them again). If it's good enough for Patton, it's good enough for you.
