Hi fellow BoGs! I'm making this thread to help those people who want to buy firearms but can't decide which brand to go to. This would narrow down their choices a bit since not all brands/models and their parts are available here in the Philippines. Please post the firearm brands & models which have authorized dealers with available spare parts and kung meron ba mga gunsmiths na marunong mag work with the said firearms. Thanks! ;)

I'm working on memory, the others will fill in.

STI pistols, Rifle parts = True Weight
SPS, CZs, Colts, Bersa = P.B. Dionisio
Jericho, Galil,
other Israeli brands = Magnificent World
Armscors = Squires Bingham or H.O. in Marikina
Taurus, Norinco = Trust Trade
Springfield XD = Strong hand
Glocks = Urban, Final Option
Rock Island, Smith & Wesson,
Ruger, Fabarn, Benelli = Twin Pines

AS for gunsmiths, this can help:

Do all those gunstores carry spare parts for those firearms that they sell? It would be a pain for new gun owners to find out that they bought guns na walang parts na available dito sa pinas. Kung masira yung baril nila, d na maaayos.. ;P Are the other 1911 brands like Kimber or Springfield available in the Phils or only Rock Island, Armscor and ParaOrd lang? Thanks for your replys peeps.

Unfortunately, they do not have spare parts for most of their line. And when they do have, it's usually not that extensive, mostly mags lang. Buti na lang mey online stores...;)

Mey Kimber ako nakita dati somewhere, pero matagal na at itsura'ng Norinco na mey 80K price tag. Dati si Nashe mey springfield din pero la na ngayon. If you're thinking about these brands, mag STI ka na lang. ;)

Ok then, could we sort the list to reputable and non-reputable stores for the sake of the new/potential gun owners. :) ;)

Okey naman Nashe. doon ko nga nabili iyong Glock Armorer's Tool ko many years ago. After that, ewan ko na.;Q

Anyways, in our society sometimes you get good service or not sa isang gunstore. Sometimes, due to a change in the weather and many other factors like floods, dollar exchange rate, where or whose bed you woke up, etc. you get bad service. For example, Twin Pines sometimes deliver on time and sometimes they don't (I remember Antedeluvianist's Glock 17). Another example is True Weight. If you visit them initially and you talked with the other except for Roland Tan and Manny Chua, well I don't know.;) Trust Trade also has some negative feedbacks before but there are times that they are good (depends on the food the staff ate that day maybe?).

I think St. Croix started a thread title "Consumer Corner." I think that can help a lot.

I believe I saw Shooters carry the SIG line of firearms
Here's another:
FEG, CZ, SIG, Fabarm = Ultra Systems - Megamall

Contrary to others' experiences, I had a satisfactory deal with them.

Bought a couple of USP mag extenders, pero mali pala. Pinalitan ko na lang ng isang mag, balance paid by card. At the time, pinakamura pa price nila sa mags. Easy deal kay Jane.

The only flak I could remember about them was the steep price they were selling their HK wares, as compared to the defunct Tri-mark where I got mine from. Please refresh my memory on the worse they did.

I didn't mean to hi-jack this thread when I posted "everyone's fav". Please use search button and you will see the complaints of other members including me.
