View Full Version : We got 'em! G20 15rd. mags!
I found a source for the G20 15rd. mags!
They will be marked "LE/Gov't use"
They are charging me more money than the other
distributor was. This will not effect the prices
for the customers that have already placed orders!
We will hold the price for you.
Anyone who wants to order them from today on will
pay $24.00 each or $22.00 each for quantities of 10 or more.

Put me down for 10 as well please MR Mike!
Thanks
Carl
... down for 5 Mr. McNett.
Will you require any funds to hold the requested order. I only ask, as the G20 standard/original capacity mags seem to be the "hen's teeth" of all the Glock mags.
PM if required.
Thanks in advance and for everthing you've done for the 10mm crowd!

If they say LEO only, how can that be legal?
Also, are they only legal AFTER the ban sunsets?
What about if the ban is reinstated after the sunset? Do they become illegal again?
They are for shipment only if / when the current AWB legislation goes away on 9/14/04. They will be legal to own by everyone that can legally own a firearm. As far as what other offending legislation might come down the pipeline, your guess is as good as mine. :(

These are brand spanking new mags right? ;)
Thanks

Awesome. I'm glad that I already pre-ordered mine.;?

They will be legal because there won't be a law anymore making them illegal.
It would be like if I wrote "Law Enforcement Only" on my underwear.
Would I be breaking "the law" if I wore them? Even if they say "Law Enforcement Only?"
Not if there isn't a law that says so...

Not a law, but a legal brief.

Nice one, dgg9.
I hope to place an order for at least 2 sometime soon, Mike. We just got CCW in Ohio and there is so much stuff that I need to get, a good belt, holsters for concealed carry, holsters for open car carry, a S&W 340SC for BUG or situations where required attire won't allow me to conceal my G20 well. I also want to get a Dan Wesson RZ10 really bad. I would probably use that as my primary carry when I get it and put night sights and slim-line grips on it. I love my G20 but, I just shoot 1911's better and for defense shot placement is everything.
Grrr, I need money and I am so poor. My 4 week trip across Europe was awesome, but paying off the tab is going to slow me down in the gun department. Thank goodness I have a job now. It took me 4 weeks to get one after I got back.

I did that once!
I wrote "Law Enforcement Only" on my underwear, then when this girl took them off me - I handcuffed her!

Strange, you may not. The state has a law banning the transfer of any detachable loading device with a capacity over 10 rounds. This legislation is not contingent upon the federal statutes.
You may only possess those standard capacity magazines that you had before California’s law went into effect. Because you were restricted from possessing the “marked” magazines before CA enacted the control, to possess them after the Fed restriction sunsets would be illegal and obvious to any law enforcement officer looking at your magazines.
Hope that made sense.

Is my original request from your thread We got'em! G20 15rd. mags! (http://www.glocktalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=266699) where I requested: 10, i.e. 2-G23, 2-G21, 4-G20 and 2-G19 mags still valid? They were $20.00 ea for 10 or more.
Been out-of-pocket so bring me up to speed if ya don't mind.
Appreciate it.

Hope that made sense.
Nothing that $hitty state does makes sense. I'm not in anyway advocating breaking the law, but the following is for information purposes only, I will not be held responsible for intentional misuse of this information. That said...
In Kommieforniastan's mag law there is no provision for identifying when the magazine was made or purchased, since mags (pre ban) generally do not have any kind of markings on them. Just how this law is to be enforced is anyone's guess, and I do not know of anyone who has been prosecuted on violating it.
So, theoretically it is possible to aquire mags from somewhere else, and it would be very difficult to prove that you did not buy the mags before the ban, since many people bought magazines for guns they didn't even own yet, before the ban went into effect. the idea was to save them for when they finally got the gun to go with the mags.
However be warned, that if you are caught importing mags, you can be charged with a class B felony and loose your rights and guns forever! Even simply transferring the mags to someone else (IE giving them away) you can be charged with the same felony...;g
Kalifornia is beyond salvation, the state is flooding with third world refugees, and a socialist government is in power here because democrat voters outnumber Republicans by over 1,000,000! The best we can hope is that the Azatlan with their leftist Hollyweird collaborators decide to declare independence from the US and then we can wall that place off for good....

Ok, I live in California, that's the bad news.
The good news is that I have ordered two magazine 'tubes' and had them sent here (standard cap 15rd) with no problems as it's atf/cali legal but they were generic brands, not Glock.
Since we still have a ban on anything over 10 rounds, would you ship me G20 mag tubes without any followers/floor plates for the same price?
If the answer is no 'cause it's a grey area I understand. Now that standard caps are back, I'm getting more no matter what, it's just how and when you know....
I'd rather throw my money your way than some other schmuck that never made any sweet 10mm ammo for my baby ;>)
Anyone feel the need to contact me over this issue, please feel free to do so.

10forward, just buy 'em from someone outside the state and courier them in yourself. Of course that probably isn't legal but, since they aren't serial numbered...

I believe It's actually a D class felony to do that if I remember correctly. However, being that non-LEO marked mags do not have any dates on them, it would be impossible to tell if you got them "before the ban" unless of course you used a credit card ;e or some other datable method of transaction.
I would say to be safe, just move to Nevada. But since that is not always practical, I would have to advise you to be very careful, and weigh the legal ramifications of any action you may take, before taking that action.
be safe,

I thought it was just transfering that was illegal in Cal. If you buy them yourself and bring them into Cal. and keep them, I don't think that's illegal. But..... make sure your check. No sense in accidentally sending yourself to jail and not being allowed to own a firearm ever again.

Well, as I said I believe that Transfer, Sale, or Importation are all prohibited in Kali, but as I also said, its impossible to tell when the non marked mags were made, and when a said individual took possession of them. Basically the burden of proof falls on the state. It was a very poorly written law, but most gun control laws are.
Just really do your homework in you localities so that you dont run into any legal problems, it isn't really worth the risk...
