frame upgrade

Anyone sent there G19 back for the frame upgrade?,they just called and told the wife my new frame is in.I have to call them for the shipping info. Any ideas how long it will take to get it back?.I do know I want all my original parts back in the new frame because I have had zero malfunctions of any kind and the trigger is pretty good on it.Might even see what it will cost for them to install a set of nite sites while they have it.How are Glock nite sites or should I just go with after market sites?

Go with aftermarket sights. So far I've had to replace five sets of my Glock factory night sights with aftermarket sights because of the front sight loosening up. Lots of people claim to have had no problem with their Glock factory sights, but why take a chance?

It shouldn't take too long. It's just a matter of shipping you the frame.

And you can forget the thought of them exchanging the frame innards. Won't happen.

I called and talked to Krissy and she said no swap ,I send in my complete gun and I get back my slide and barrel on new frame with new internals.But she did say that if I was not experiencing any problems that the new frame is there and I could send in for the upgrade at any time.It works fine so why bother.

Funny. When I exchanged frames, all they wanted was the frame. No barrel, no slide, no mags or box. Just the frame.

Why exchange the frame now when you know they have a new frame with the right serial number available and just waiting for you? FOR FREE?You should ask .....DO I FEEL LUCKY?

When I called I ask if I could just send the frame,she told me that they needed every thing but the magazines because they would have to test fire it after the upgrade.
