View Full Version : James Clavell's addicts out there?
Being a teenager, I've read all his books covering the asian saga. They changed me a lot.
Story line:
Shogun
Tai-Pan
Gai-Jin
King rat
Noble house
Whirlwind
Here's great fan website (http://www.jamesclavell.net/).
Not been a teenager anymore for some decades now but I read them all. Tai Pan was my first, and from then I could not get enough. Whirlwind was a little disappointing for some reason, though. Can't put a handle on it.
If you like James Clavell, you might like Ken Follet. I suggest looking into The Pillars of the Earth. Completely different time and place, but just as involving. A book that can't be thick enough.
