View Full Version : Flush fitting mag for the P9 ?
I just bought a P9, it came with a 7 round and 8 round mag, of course neither one is flush fitting at the bottom of the grip..I'm thinking that a 6 round mag will be to short for the P9, is there a flush fitting mag made for the P9 ?? I know that grinding down the plastic base on the 7 round will shorten it up to a small degree, but I would like to have a flush fitting mag.
My Bersa 380 came with the plastic extention on the mag also, but I bought a mag from fourfourmag.com that fits flush, however there mags for the Kahr have the plastic extention also, and do not appear to fit flush.
gcloyd,
On my new k9 elite 2003 it came with a seven and an eight one in the chamber. Their is some plastic on the bottom to give it that "tactical look", but I would not mind having a flush fit metal bottom magazine. Just for the smoother look.
I'd like it just like how a PM9 pops in smoothly.
I wonder why neither are flush fitting? Odd...
I should think that you could put a metal baseplate from a 6 rounder on a 7 or 8 rounder and it should work, but I don't have an 8 rounder to try.
I'm sure someone will chime in with the answer.

I would also like a flush mag on my P9. I wonder why they don't do it?

I would also like a steel fluch fit base pad. With small/medium hands, would work great. With larger hads, the existing setup seems a better choice.
However, if you look at the mag, it extends about .25" below the mag well. Even a MK flush base would still have the mag protruding.

See, THAT I did not know. (I only have a PM9) I guess that answers that.
