Anybody had any experince with this model? How close to POA is it? I'm thinking of putting one on a Taurus PT 92, using the Berreta adapter. This would be the "on the nightstand" piece.

I've had one for a few weeks and it seems to work well and be constructed with good quality. Admittedly I have not put it through any rough (wet/dirty/hot/cold) conditions or heavy usage; like you said it's my nightstand/bedroom gun. I also sprang for the remote switch which enables 1-handed, "instant on/off" triggering, keeping the weak hand free for other purposes.
The M6 is awesome and I'm glad I got it. The laser is fully adjustable with small alen screws so it can be positioned for whatever load you are shooting. Finding a holster for the gun with lights was a challenge but I did it. What light are you going to get?

I bought one and it is money well spent for my home defense gun.

I did think it was a bit "odd" that the instructions recommended sighting the laser at 75 or maybe 100yds, I forget which. In a home defense situation here in population-dense SoCal, that would be the range of your neighbors 2 or 3 houses away. I set mine up for more like 50 feet i.e. from my bedroom door to the front entryway or the front door to the sidewalk/street. That seems more realistic. As mentioned above, it is pretty easy to (re)adjust as needed with a couple of -tiny- allen screws.

How accurate is it at longer distances such as the 75 yards mentioned above? I have a lasermax in my G19 which doesn't allow adjustment, so I'm curious about how precisely the M6 laser can be sighted in...

To clarify, I have not actually fired with the laser at various distances to check accuracy. I am basically aligning it with the (standard Glock) sight picture, and the adjusters do seem precise enough to accomplish that at the shorter distances I've played with thus far.
I am not sure how well it will hold adjustment as there is no way to "lock" the adjuster screws at a particular setting. Therefore I would expect that vibration, temperature swings, etc. could cause some drift.
I have a m6 with Galco leather light holster. I paid around four hundred a long time ago. Go with the m3. The laser is worthless. I can shoot better by aiming. But, the light is pretty important. It also cost a lot less.
