Hi!
Took the new G29 for a test drive.
Not one hitch.
Tried everything: Silvertips, 3 types of Double Tap, UMC cheapo, and all the left over .40 I could collect.
I even mixed the loads in one mag.
Frustration...could not get or induce a problem.
Even with my weak left wrist.
As soon as I find the new camera, I will try to post the target.
(Wonder who has the camera, huh?)

Hey all right!
I've never mixed .40 and 10mm in the same mag.
The 29 is my next gun.

Nice! I shot some 40 out of my G20 and expected to have some feed problems, but the same thing happened to me…pull trigger, pistol went pop without issue. How many total rounds in that target?
About 200? Did not count all the loose .40;Q

I've always reserved .40 for emergency situations, but I have heard people (like yourself) that have had no trouble.
G33, from your report, it sounded like you were expecting an error from a Glock 10mm - in ain't gonna happen! ;f

Bambihunter, I have posted several times that I have shot lots of .40's thru both my 20 and 29 without incident. No however after breaking and replacing my extractor (due to noobie reloading errors)in the 20 I can not get a .40 to fire. It will chamber and feed no problem but pulling the trigger just pushes the round a little further into the chamber and does not fire.???
Congrats G33, you got a super gun there,;f but be carefull feeding it those little .40s. ;f
Besides save those for the women and children to shoot.;f ;P

G20man, the write-up I've seen on shooting .40's in a 10mm involved a S&W 1076 and the author supposedly shot a LOT of it.
I just don't like the idea in an auto unless I'm extremely desperate. I'm certainly not telling you not to though. ;)
