View Full Version : What kind of new night sights to get
I have a 23 and a 27 that I would like to get new night sights for. My duty gun has meprolight nightsights so I am leaning towards those. Do you guys know of a good place to order some of them at? Thanks!

I just got a new set of the Ameriglo "Operator" night sights for my G35. They are great! Thin front post wide rear notch, and not having the white outline around the rear tritium really helps me focus on the front sight.

;P Whatever you do, DON'T buy current issue Glock factory night sights. They are absolute crap! ;g
I was thinking of xs big dot sights...or some sort of heinie sights.

I have XS sights and wouldn't use anything different on a carry gun.

Have you considered the TruGlo Brite Sites? I got them from www.xd-gear.com for about $80 and they can be used during daylight and darkness.
I took some pics of the install on my G19. I hope this helps.

I have them on my G23. I am in and out of various buildings all day when at work and many times facing bright sun when out of my vehicle. TruGlo Tritium Fiber Optic Sites work well for me in all lighting situations.
Am very pleased with the XS 24/7 Big Dot Tritium sights just installed on my 33.

Good choice. I use Heinie slant pro tritiums and really like them. I feel like they line up nicely and quickly. Admittedly, I'm not a huge fan of 3 dot sights so they're perfect for me.

Like I said in another post...I still vote for the TruGlo TFO sights. They are the brightest I have seen and they have a sleak look to them that really dresses up my Glock. Also plenty of room on each side of front sight to make precise shooting at 25 yards.

Have you tried cleaning your Tru-Glos with Rusty Duck? I understand that stuff is wonderful for cleaning Tru-Glo sights.
I'd take Matt's advice and get the Heinies. I've tried the Big Dots and really don't like them. I'd prefer a ghost ring to a Big Dot.
Take a look at the various options that Ameriglo offers. Some of their excellent night sights don't require any special tools for installation. They even include a front sight tool with their sights.

I have the xs big dot 24/7 for a Glock 20 10mm. Very good sight under all light conditions. Fast and accurate. No complaints
