I recently picked up a PM9 and was kind of surprised to see that the frame rails are polymer. I was curious how the rails seem to be holding up and how others feel about them? I assume they are holding up well?

Thanks!

All polymer Kahr's have 4 steel rail inserts (2 long skinny ones up front & 2 short square ones at the rear)... the polymer rails are extras! ^c

Thanks Michigun for pointing out the rails in the front. I feel pretty dumb about not noticing those when checking out the PM9 at the dealer. It looks like with those and the two small ones at the rear that it is a pretty solid design.

Thanks again!

Don't feel dumb sir as those rails in the front are pretty unique! (Gotta go looking for’em particularly.)

(FYI, if ya think about it the Kahr actually has more metal rail then a GLOCK does. ^c)
