No personal experience on that type but from feedbacks sa forums, mukhang delikado mahulugan ka ng baril nyan dre. I suggest you either stick to the kydex rigs or get a CR/JR speed. Both offer far more stability in the unlocked position than the others. YMMV though. ;)

I have a buddy who uses that for comp before, nahulugan siya ng baril. Nakalimutan i-lock or something. If you still want to try it I'll contact him. Last time I heard (2 yrs ago!)he was selling it.

Mini review :
(copy and paste from the internet / midwayusa site)
Initial adjustment was a bit time consuming, but well worth the effort. Excellent design, this is the fastest holster I have ever used. Only negative note: be careful that magnets do not protrude or the slide on your pistol will get scratched! (probably only an issue if you convert to left handed)

... but based from what i've read so far, the best yata yung may base support sa gun muzzle. no accidental knocking down or dropping of gun, especially when you're in the process of sitting down.

Yes sir, I have the Hogue's Powerspeed Holster.:)

For me, Powerspeed's selling point is its versatility in terms of usage. I use it on different pistols ( CZ 97B, Jericho, Para Ord, etc.) some of which, like the CZ 97B, cannot be accommodated on other popular brands. It's the only "Universal" competition holster that I know (maybe I'm wrong).

The holster is made in Austria out of Deldrin material, a very strong plastic. It has three powerful magnets that keep the pistol secure and is composed of plastic O-ring kits to adjust according to the pistol's features. It locks the gun through the trigger guard in front of the trigger. There's no way you can drop the pistol once the lock is secured.Jump, roll, dive, etc. the gun stays intact. Unlocking is very easy and goes with the draw by using the thumb.

The magnets really scratch the gun. I did cover the magnets on my Hogue with a piece of plastic sheet taken from a used black plastic folder.Problem solved.

Another consideration is the locking/unlocking lever. I re-positioned the unlocking lever so as not to obstruct the quick draw. The middle finger sometimes hit the lever during the draw.

I bought mine for about 5T, if you're not considering on using other guns, except on 1911 design, better get a Bianchi or CR Speed. The price is within the range though I prefer the latter ( CR Speed ).Just me.;)

Thanks guys for the feedback. I asked the lady in stronghand to demo the hogue powerspeed on one of their guns (a para p14) and after removing the gun, the slide already had scratches. I will try other holsters instead. A friend advised me to try safariland or cr speed.

for your glock 21, get the cr speed specially made for glocks. iirc, you should use the large frame. homogenizer uses the same set up but for his g17, the pistol is well secured...so secured that he uses it without the muzzle platform:)
