I called and talked with a lady @ EAA who confirmed they are getting non-neutered magazines for the 10mm. She told me it will be less than a month. She took my name and number to call me with when the magazines become available. Just thought I would pass on the good news!!:)

This is kind of off-topic a bit :), but I called them again to see what recoil spring upgrade (if any) was needed to shoot full power 10mm loads. The guy was a little cocky but ok, and said their book says not too fire anythin "+p+ rated. He said he cannot give any advice on the recoil spring since shooting that ammo was not recommended, (DoubleTap, Corbon and a couple others..) I though that was pretty weird. Just thought I would share the info......

I put the stock recoil spring back in mine, I seem to like the gun better with it in. I am going to order some more of the 135g. stuff too see what it does :)

One more thing where can I get a shock buff for this thing, 10mm Witness full size?

Perhaps someone should clue the yuks at EAA in on SAAMI specs, but ISFAIK, there are no +P or +P+ ratings for the 10mm Auto/Norma cartridge. Same for the .40 S&W, no such animal.

And SFA DT ammo goes, Mike has listed that his ammo is loaded to or below SAAMI specifications(read that as NOT +P or +P+ ratings).

Don't take my word on this though, just use the Search function of the forum and enter SAAMI and MCNETT for the Keyword and User Name filters, respectively.

EAA, well established for not even bothering to recognize or acknowledge the truth and/or facts of anything that doesn't configure to their own precepts of the world. The crying shame of it all is that they're the importer/servicing agent for Tan Witness pistols(what a way to lose market share).

Anyone ever hear of the "shcok buff" thing my buddy was talking about? Oh and another thing. Does anybody makes grips for these things? The gun's grip could be a lot thinner if different grips could be made.

Thanks:)

Does anyone have a 38 super witness in full size they could try the mags out to see if 10mm rounds will fit in the magazine?

I ordered the .38 Super mag from Mec-Gar that hold 17 rounds. I am going to tweak the feed lips and see if it will run 10mm through it. Mec-Gar said they have about a dozen or so, as soon as I get it I will hurry to try things out, and takes pics for ya. I am going to borrow my da;d sony 5.1 megapixel camera for ya's
