How much do they run and how good is the quality? I would like to get one sometime. Anyone have any experience with these?

Really? Nobody??
I do know two guys that have that assembly. They are happy with it. Two things to watch for:
Make sure that you get the .50 BMG hammer. At first, their rifle would sometimes fail-to-fire. The new hammer cured that.
Know that they won't eject a loaded cartridge. A loaded cartridge barely fits while being loaded. It is angled sharply.
I shot the AR-15/50 and decided to buy a Armalite AR-50. I'm glad that I did. I like it much better. :)

Here's some to look at.

When these first showed up on the market people thought they would destroy the lowers. I have yet to see one that has shown any extra abuse with a .50 upper on it.
The Ferret has been redesigned with a larger ejection port so that it will eject a live round when the bolt is cycled. The UM50 is mag fed with either a 3 or 5 round mag. Out of the three, the ALS won the "hunter" class in 2003 at the .50 championships in Raton.

I have really been looking hard at the ALS, and after reading about it, it will eject a live round, and operate like a "normal" bolt action rifle...
They claim that it works fine with the standard lower, and fits tight enough that there wont' be any damage, claiming "thousands" of rounds fired through one lower with no damage...
Anybody have one of these? I am having a hard time deciding between that, a Serbu or a Barrett...
