View Full Version : Green or Yellow
What are the advantages/disadvatages of the Yellow or Green colors for the Meprolight night sights for my G-26 that I plan on ordering?
Thanks,
MoonPie
The green are generally believed to be brighter.

Green lifespan is longer, also.
My favorite setup is green front, yellow rear. The mepros are all warrantied for the same timeframe, regardless of color.

I also prefer green up front and yellow rear. The yellow is ever so slightly dimmer, which means that the rear sight isnt brighter than the front. This is a problem with green/green sights.
I go green front, orange rear. Green is picked up more readily by the human eye (or so I've been told) and having the different colors makes it easier for me to align the sights when I can't see the gun.
Also, it does seem that my front dot is noticably brighter than the rears.
OK! I like the idea of Green in front and Yellow in the rear. Anyone know where I can Get Meprolight in this format?
Thank you,
MP
I found the best prices & service from a GT Member by the name of Desert_Scorpion. I bought a few pairs from him & was 100% satisfied.
Desert_Scorpion,
Can you sell me Mepros for my G-26 with Green in front & Yellow in the rear?
