How do I go about getting the picture (jpeg) from my computor to show up with the text? Also to transfer picture to Avatar?

Do you mean like text over written on photo.


as far as an custome avatar, same you digital creation to a size under 100x100 or 80x80 and go to your profile and upload a custom avatar.

You will need a photo manipulation software for the insertion of text like Photoshop, GIMP, etc......

with windows XP, you can insert text and shrink pics just by using the bitmap/paint function.

did your pic that way. shrunk it to 96x72.

Are you talking about a pic showing up in a post here?
If so it needs to be hosted by an online image hosting service. I believe there is another thread running here about that topic now.
