Hi BoGs. I'm a new shooter and was wondering what holsters are well suited for a Beretta 92FS that's similar to Fobus but isn't too difficult to draw. Thanks :)

This allowed the gun to sit higher for a full grip access sa draw. ;)

Nakaaingit kasi kayo mapanood e. ;)

Thank you sir. Would you know where I can get UM? What's the price range?

tom,

I recommend Uncle Mike's kydex holster (no thumb snap). It is what I use for IPSC. It costs $19.00.

Kung maganda pa finish nung Beretta mo, my advice is use leather holsters instead of kydex. A well-made Leather holster will polish/scratch your gun on the "right places". Kydex must be kept spotlessly clean inside otherwise it'll leave ugly streaks of scratches, not the kind that you'll appreciate in the long run.

If you don't mind scratching your Beretta like that, then kydex would serve you well.

Alexii, jerrytrini, 9MX, Eye Cutter, mc_oliver, batangueño:

Guys, thanks so much for all your advice. I'll check out all the options and see which one works for me. Had someone check out the price of CR Speed Model A in the States to see if i could get it cheaper there. Btw, how/where can I get in touch with Uncle Tony? Thanks again

Tony Giron aka Uncle Tony of Magnificent Leather. Pagawa ka sa kanya ng leather rig for IDPA. For IPSC, I still prefer CR Speed holster and mag pouches!

It's a very small 1-man operation shop after Loyola Memorial Park (same side), before the dry cleaner place and in front of CA Roque Machine shop in Tanong, Marikina City

you're right alexii, someone lend/gave me this kind of holster, used it once and it left some minor streaks like you've said.

Eye Cutter, Judge, Tigra,

Maraming maraming salamat sa pagtulong nyo sa pagkuha ko ng belt. Ang ganda! Feel na feel ko nakatulog suot yun after i was dry-firing wearing it. Hehe! :)

Thank you rin sa pag-source nyo ng holsters and magpouches na JR Speed at a very good price. Sana makabawi naman ako sa inyo soon.

Tigra, pasensya na sa no show ko kahapon. Kakahiya sa yo.

Ingat kayong lahat,

Alexii, Fonzy, Mc_Oliver, Batangueno, 9MX,

Thanks for all your assistance guys. Never knew there were so many people out there who would help out a newbie. Hope I can return the favor soon. See you at the upcoming matches.

Won't be getting a Kydex holster anymore as you said it scratches the finish. Judge, Tigra, and Eye Cutter have pooled their resources together to help me obtain a rig. I've ordered through them a belt, magpouches and a JR Speed holster at very reasonable prices.

Thanks again BOGs.

Thanks for the info Eye Cutter. Will keep it for reference since I'll be going with the JR Speed you guys sourced for me.

Hey thanks Alexii. I'm currently using a nylon holster with felt lining and think I'll stick with that til I get a quick draw type. Your right, a plastic type holster does scratch the finish, tried a fobus on my gun and just one pull left a little scratch.

See you at the matches sometime. :)

Nice gun Fonzy. If I'm not mistaken, we have the same finish. :) Thanks for the advice regarding the scratching.

try gulaman (jello ) diet without the sugar, thats what the gym instructor here recommend ..feeling mo daw busog lage.. so la kang craving for food, the disadvantage is nakapagtatae

pag nakita ninyo si tigra!

effective ang diet kung sasabayan ng exercise. cross-training is good. I play tennis regularly. dati hindi ako makapag singles play, hinihingal agad. Now, I can play 2-3 games nang singles bago hingalin ng todo!
