Buying my First Glock (G19) This Weekend

Hi,
Buying my first Glock this weekend at local gunshow. Want the G19 & wondering if there is anything in particular I should look for in this model. Oh yeah buying new so are there any serial# ranges to avoid or changes to look for? Price ranges? Thanks!

I bought a new 19 last month at a local gun show, price was $449 new in case, with 2 "clinton mags," case, & gun lock. Only choice if you are buying new is do you want black or OD? Other than that, if you can find one with Hi-Cap mags, I would choose it, otherwise the 10 rounders are ok, but I would recommend changing the standard 2183-1 followers with 9mm-3 or -1, they seem to be much more reliable. Good luck, I love mine and will by getting trigger work and nights sights this weekend at DFW gun show.:)
