Hi,

I currently have a set of Meps on my G17. I like the 3 dot system, and wish to continue using them. However, I get better target acquisition when there is a greater lateral(in line) gap between the front sight post and the the rear sight notches. On the Meps, the gaps to pick up 'equal light' on either side of the front sight are just too small for me. Are there other similar night sights that have a greater gap? Thanks for the help.

I just orderes some Ameriglo Operator sights

I have heard that they have the thinnest front sight blade .125".

Also custom glock racing sells race cut heinies but they do not ust the three dot system.

I'll post about the operators when they get here

You are looking for the Ameriglo Operator sights! They have a much bigger gap than the Mepro's with a much thinner front sight. Target acquisition is much faster with the Operators!

Thanks, sounds like exactly what I'm looking for! I'll give them a try on my next Glock.
