How do I post a photo? HELP!

I have a photo you must see but how do I post it? It is in jpeg. Please advise I am not very computer literate.

When you are creating a post, look at the bottom of the page, just below where you are typing. You will see a blank field, next to it, "Browse". Click that button and go to where it is stored on your PC.

If its on the web, click the image button just above your NEW post, and paste the link directly to the image.

When you are posting a reply or starting a new thread, you will see below the section where you type your message:

Attach file: and next to that a browse button. Click on the browse button. It will take you to your desktop and you will need to then find where your photo is located. When you find your photo and highlight it, click open and then when you are finished with your message, click submit.

I have tried several times to post via the "ATTACH FILE--->BROWSE" process, but I have never made it work. Probably something I am screwing up.

The only way I have ever been able to post a photo is by uploading the jpg or other photo file to my personal web page and then inserting a link to my web page via the "IMG" feature.

My internet service provider gives users 10 MEG for personal web pages. Posting a photo to my personal web page is not especially easy. And the URL for posting is different from the URL for viewing by the public. Very complex in my opinion. There must be easier ways.

And even then there are some potential problems, like if the URL to my photo on my personal web page is too long, GT will not take it. Not sure what the maximum length is.
