View Full Version : Earthquake!!!!!!!!!!
When I got home 30 minutes ago, all the tenants of our apartment building were outside, an earthquake was experienced for 2 mins. According to my neighbors, intensity is like the one in 1991;P
I think all of Luzon felt it. I just hope those in the epicenter, wherever that is, are safe:)
Felt it too, on the road while waiting for the light to turn green. I thought first it was the wine I had over dinner. Thank God it wasn't like the one 14 years ago.
Strong earthquake hits Luzon
A strong earthquake hit entire Luzon at around 10:35 p.m. Friday.
The quake, estimated at intensity 4 to 5, lasted for at least a little over a minute.
The jolt was initially soft but progressed into brief wild swings.
The epicenter was still being located as of posting time.
The quake was mostly felt in high areas like Antipolo City and Bataan, where power outages were reported.

Felt it here in Balayan too. That was strong, the whole house was swaying(you know how old Bahay-na-bato types do this) and the lights went out which added to the drama:) had to walk through all the shaking and swaying to console my wife who was calling for me when the lights went out.
Hope everyone's okay. This is the third quake this week, but this is the strongest.

10:35 p.m.? I was already sound asleep by that time. Kind of makes you want to go back and re-read the thread on the "Triangle of Life." Lets just pray for the best and stay prepared, guys, after all, we should expect these earthquakes as our country is near the earthquake belt.

I guess that I was the only one who didn't feel the earthquake.I was taking a shower at the time.I only found about it when my wife came home an hour later and told me about the earthquake.
