Took the Barrett hom today

Yep, the retarded 10 CA waiting period ended last night at 6:00 PM ;Q so I completed the PPT at the FFL today and brought home my Barrett M95, with harshell case, detachable bipod, cleaning kit, one 5rd magazine. Now I am considering scope choices. Looking into Nightforce NSX, US Optics, SniperScope, Swarovski/Barrett, or one of the new XOTIC USS scopes....:cool:

Congrats on your new acquisition. I too have just got my first .50 (a Barrett M82A1) just in case we follow Kalifornia's ban (I sometimes refer to my home state as Kalifornia West). I've decided on the Super Sniper 20x and Badger Ord Max 50 rings, then I need to get some ammo:) .

Where do you live in SoCal? We have a group of guys that get together the 3rd Sunday of every month to shoot at Angeles Shooting Range. If you feel like coming out, just show up and have some fun. If you want to try out another .50 just ask, all the guys are great. We won't be there this month as we're doing long range shooting elsewhere.

For the money it's hard to beat the NF scopes, I have the NXS 5.5-22X56mm on my AR-50. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
