Have you looked at the Yamaha Silent Violins?

They are pretty good for quiet practice.

I like this Fender in more of a traditional shape.

For me, its cost, i cant find yamahas for less than 200, im not looking at spending that much on an electric fiddle. the one i had shown was 150, and i have played on it before and sounds good. mostly this will before silent practice, and for when i'm outside with an amp

I like my Zeta, but unless you get really lucky they are a bit pricey. On the other hand I found the web site for the guy that made my Viola in 1976. I paid $1000, he now charges $14000!!! Yeow! I once called Bein & Fushi about a violin I was interested in (a Gasparo Da Salo) $600,000!!! I wish they would just post prices so you didn't have to feel like such a yutz when you call them. (They really were very nice) Oh well, Platinum taste on a Lead Budget.

I think it happened when Eric was having troubles with the attachments. I noticed alot of post that had the wrong pictures in them.
