When I was a crazy teenager, I came into possession of an old bayonet. I've had it for many, many years. After digging it out of a box a few days ago, I became curious about what rifle it goes with. After some searching, I discovered that it belongs to a Swedish 1896 Mauser, which is somewhat of a collectors' item. Do you think anybody would want it?
The bayonet is in fairly good shape. There is no corrosion on the handle and scabbard. There is a tiny amount of corrosion on the blade, and tons of scratches. The edge is still very sharp. I imagine the blade could be buffed and polished to remove the tiny specks of rust and light scratches.
Thanks,
-Matt C.-
