Last year or so I noticed that I had a scraper in my P7M8 box. The scraper had been in there for 6 months! Being black it did not notice it as this was the first P7 I'd ever owned with the box and all the goodies. I came up with an idea for a scraper tool that also would be a screwdriver for the grip screws and have a 1/2" flat to remove the firing pin bushing. I made the combo-tool out of soft stainless so it would be easier to see. having acess to a laser cutting unit made the job duck soup and I've sold quite a few online. If any of you are intrested in one of these.............. there are ordering details over on the Cult of the P7 board.
the picture is down a-ways showing the factory version and mine
How is the firing pin bushing removed. I have never figured that out!

with your left hand hold the P7 and slightly engage the grip saftey, insert your thumbnail (or my nifty tool) into the bushing slot, depress slightly and rotate 45 degreees............out she comes along with the firing pin. it is a good idea to check the bushing as they crack. Once cracked they can lead to un repairable slide damage (trust me)
My OEM scraper tool is great for blowing bubbles. If you could put a hole in yours where the "P7" is stamped, I'd be interested.
(just teasin') :)

It's not stamped, it's cut through with the same laser that cuts the profile.........................so it blows P7 shaped bubbles!

I will be selling them on eBay in two weeks or so and the price will be going up.
A brass .270 cal. rifle cleaning brush fits the gas chamber on my H&K P7M8. It does a good job. :)

Is there a scraper somewhere in that picture? ;Q
I have several of your scrapers and they work great. Much better than the .270 bore brush even. ;)

Ordering instructions are over on the Cult discussion board.
Yes, I saw the info there. Because that thread is several months old, I simply wanted verification that everything was still the same. For better or for worse, my nature causes me to dislike assumptions. Moreover, you may realize more sales if you restated that data here on GlockTalk.

Thanks for the advice but I don't want to post the ordering info here as is it might violate some rule or other...............i just wanted to post the info and let the P7 folks do as they may. They are a pretty good crowd, let me tell you! I've taken over 50 personal checks from orders on the Cult board and all of them have been good!!
