Alum alloy

Any members here with pistol or revolver with aluminum alloy frame? How does it stand up? What caliber do you have?

The reason I asked, there's a sale of 22 LR/M revolver with alum alloy frame but I don't want to jump at it yet.

My Beretta 92 Brigadier has an aluminum alloy frame. It may very well be because of it why Beretta's weight is manageable though it looks and feels big.

I believe aluminum alloy frames will stand up well durability wise, though this may vary among manufacturers. Variables would be the structural design of the frame, frame to slide fit, and correct spring tensions.
