I currently have a Treo 600 that I take everywhere and log everything on it (gas, books, etc.) Now that I have become a gun enthusiast, I am looking for software that runs on my "palm" to log range visits, inventory my stuff, etc. Any ideas?

I found this one: Gun Keeper (http://snipurl.com/9v45)

It sounds good, but there were no reviews, and it didn't have a PC "companion". I am hoping someone out there knows more........ :)

I find it hard to believe someone would make something for a palm and not have a PC component for backup!!! The good news is its pretty cheap. Can't wait for you to try it and let us all know how it is:)

Well, since I couldn't find anything else, I purchased the Gun Keeper software, I'll post a "review" in a couple of days. :)

Oh well, review time is over. ;g I loaded the app tonight, and started adding in the information. It appears to be a good tool to store information about your gun, favorite ranges, gun shops, and when you go shoot. However, I was looking for a tool to also help me keep track of the number of rounds shot per gun, but this is app does not use relational databases, so there is no correlation between the any of the information added. It basically is GUI notepad. :)

Anyway, it could be helpful to some. But for me it was a $7.00 bad experiment. :(

Oh well, I'll keep searching....... :)

Does it come with any spreadsheet software?

As is, palm only software.

I don't understand what all you are trying to do. But, Data Viz has a spreadsheet application called SheetToGo. I have set up a template for storing and doing the statistics on chronograph data.

I believe you can download from the PalmOne site for free. The PC component has a charge.
