I would like to thank everyone who conducted, coordinated and took part in the Rangemaster Combative Pistol Course in Anniston, AL, on the dates of 16-17 Oct 04.

I was very impressed with Mr. Tom Givens and his staff during the intensive two day course. The balance between classroom instruction and range time was just about perfect. It is one thing to know how to shoot but another to know when it is justified and warranted. The videos, live instruction and workbook drove home this fact as well as how to foster a fighting spirit.

Mr. Givens easygoing demeanor and solid “been there, done that” expertise, made all aspects of the course enjoyable and informative. The man truly is a gentleman and professional in every sense of the word.

I would also like to express my gratitude to my fellow students. I learned a lot, discussed a lot and had a great time with the photo vest mafia over pizza at Mata’s. Thank you gentlemen for you camaraderie and friendship! Also, thanks for not laughing too much when I did the “double feed dance” on the last test on Sunday.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is serious about fighting with handguns. It is a true bargain at the offered price.
