Hard Drive Recovery Services

My HD crashed out of nowhere Thursday night.
I tried a disk recovery software program Friday from a new harddrive, but the old one started banging (very very bad sound) so I disconnected it.

This is a job for a pro service.

There are about 2000 listed on the net.

Can anyone recommend one for me to send my HD to?




BTW, it was a Western Digital 250gig HD, and only 8 months old.

Well you could purchase an exact replacement and swap out the circuit boards and see if that fixes the problem.

but it has to be an exact replacement. Chips and Firmware on the hard drive circuit board get upgraded over time.

I have had a high success rate on doing this. I have saved some pretty important data for customers and friends.
