USB ports suddenly dead

something must have happened to my USB driver because all my USB stuff isnt working. My printer, my logitech wireless mouse etc. Where do I go to reinstall it - microsoft disks, motherboard disks? everything was fine like yesterday, now its all whack. sigh.

Does it claim that this a piece of gear, or a Windows component?

XP uses USB Root Hubs; you can check in Device Manager to see if they are active.

Also, most boards let you disable USB in the BIOS; I'd check there first.
