Thunderbird question

How do I import "contacts" from Outlook to T-bird? Also, it seems that no calender function is available. Is this correct? Additionally, it would seem that the "translation" feature which was previously available, is no longer so in the new version.
Finally, how does one activate the spell-checker?

Install the calendar extension...it's called Sunbird.

If you open up your TBird address book and go to Tools, you'll see "Import...".
