View Full Version : SLim Rubber Grips
I have a "new to me" Kimber TLE and I love the rubber grips. Only problem is I have small hands and would like to switch out to a thin rubber grip. Anyone have any suggestions? I have looked at Pearce's web site but they do not show how thin their grips are. Maybe someone can tell me what they have found.
Thanks for the help.

I have a TLE also and don't think you will find grips much thinner than the stock ones...if you are not adverse to wood, you can find some really nice thin grips...McCormick has them and not expensive...you can also try navidrex grips (brownell's has them) and they are nice and thin...just rememember you will have to change out the bushings on the frame for truly thin grips...
I only know of wood slim line grips. The McCormick grips would look great on your TLE.

Hogue Reproduction checkered panels with diamond pattern around screws. Product Code: 45011. Retail price: $ 13.95 / Each.
They are noticeably slimmer that the stock Kimber grip and you do not need special grip screws and bushings.

Those are nice Mushinto...would like to try them...but I'm curious...how do they make them thinner overall if the scew height stays the same? I would assume the height by the screws would have to remain about the same...

These grips are as thin as possible without going to short screws. With standard grips, the screws still are not bottomed out. The difference might not mic out to much, but your hand will definitely know the difference.
Try them; they are usually about eleven bucks in the gun stores. You will not be sorry.
