Kahr Warranty.... not good

You're view is flawed. You believe they will address any defects in a timely manner, or, at all; you're wrong. I'd go as far as to say the Kahr pistols come with a 0-year/0-day product warranty.

Others have had great experiences, and, great pistols. I did not have a functional pistol, and Kahr, through it's silence and lack of returned communication, refused to adhere to it's warranty policy.

Let's see, a quick perusal of a few of my owners manuals and the web shows:

Sig - no warranty provided, page 18.
Ruger - no warranty provided, page 52
Glock - no warranty provided, page 31
Browning - no warranty expressed or implied
Benelli - 5 years, web page
Winchester - no warranty expressed or implied
CZ - 5 year limited warranty, web page
HK - Lifetime to the original owner
S&W - Lifetime
Colt - Limited Lifetime

Funny thing is both my Kahr manuals...
Limited Lifetime Warranty, back cover/see attached

That seems to put Kahr right up there with the best of them.

According the their website Kahr has changed its policy to 5 years. So any new purchases would get the 5 year warranty.....still better than the majority of manufacturers out there.

When I bought my Kahr PM9 there was a lifetime warrantee. This has
changed on the website. Part of my choice in firearms was the
warrantee.

Can you please re-assure me that my warrantee is grandfathered? You
have a record of my firearm when I sent it in for the barrel recall -
VA6xxx

Go Kel-Tec... they give a lifetime warranty and fast-turnaround...
