Zorkd, I've been in China for almost 2.5 years. Mas slave pa dating nang laborer dito sa atin kaysa China. Doon yung ordinary Const. worker free yung tirahan and meals + minimum wage, hindi reklamador and kahit walang supervisor nagtratrabaho ayon sa designation niya (naka long sleeve pa, minsan amerkana;f ).We all have wrong impression about this powerful nation.

If you have time , go and visit Shenzhen and see for yourself.

;) :)

Siyanga pala , I bought HK white polo shirt din pala.

I agree with kabayang Hermo. Since they opened up the IRON CURTAIN and after the invasion of capitalism they've change their ways to be competitive. Just like what the great scholars have been saying during the late 90's " Beware........ the DRAGON has awakened." By the way Sir Hermo ano po yung main dialect na ginagamit sa mainland? I am planing to visit that country for the next Olympics and for future business venture. I hope you dont mind me sending you some PM to get some info about this country. Thanks :)

Paltik 45,

There are so many dialects inside mainland China. In Shenzhen, Cantonese dialect dominates since its location resides just above Hong Kong. But overall, Putonghua is the main dialect just like Tagalog/Pilipino here in the Phils. Almost everybody understands and speaks this dialect.

You'll have no problems in Beijing if you could speak/understand Putonghua. Mainlanders are very hospitable to foreigners just like here in the Phils. I'm sure you'll enjoy your visit there esp. during the 2008 Beijing Olympic.:)
