Polished Barrel Bushings

Can you buy polished barrel bushings for Springfield Armory pistols, or do you need to buy the stainless steel bushings and polish them yourself?

You could polish the plain steel bushing. You would have to sand off the finish and then polish. The problem is that it will be subject to rust. I don't recall seeing anyone making any mirror polished bushings so polishing a stainless one would be the way to go. Of course, this means fitting it to the pistol also.
