Sir, are you asking whether any local holster maker produces kydex, or whether kydex holsters from overseas are available at our local gun stores?

I saw Uncle Mikes and Fobus Kydex holsters being sold by Twin Pines, Strong Hand, VLP, True Weight and Jethro during the gun show

Strong Hand also carries Blade-Tech holsters, while Urban Industrial Corp. carries Fobus.

I wish someone (calling Final Option) would bring in the Sidearmor line of kydex holsters.

I thought there was only one style for a Fobus Paddle.

Dre, I suggest you stay away from fobus for the 1911. Use the Uncle Mikes instead. The fobus plastic gets scratched easily with the metal frames leaving sharp plastic ridges that'll cause even more finish wear. A shooting buddy before used that for IDPA and messed up his trojan.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYBODY AND HOPING THAT 2005 TURNS OUT TO BE A GREAT ONE (not a crappy one like the naysayers say)!!!

Bro, try going to stronghand. I've seen some of their IWB holsters that are being made by Bladetech that they're selling anywhere from P1,700 to P3,000. They're good holsters and I'm planning to get one from them as soon as I have my Para customized (sorry, guys, but I'm not a glock fan, I just wanted to join this site).

Peace!

No problem, Punisher. Everyone is welcome here, as long as they play nice and avoid unnecessarily abrasive behavior. Welcome to the BoG forum. :)

Actually, you're setting something of a record by signing up. You're our first member who is part of the local law enforcement community. I hope you can share your experience in the field with us so that we can work together to make the Philippines a safer, more crime-free place to live.

Punisher_nbi45 - Welcome to the forum, if I'm not mistaken you're the same guy from Pistolsmith.com right? It would really be interesting if you could share your experiences from the underworld.
Stay safe and regards again to our friends out there.:)

Thanks for the welcome in this forum. I hope you guys don't mind my nick, it's just that I'm proud of the institution, hence, the reason why I chose that nick. Anyway, I do hope I can be of help. Don't worry, you guys can ask me about anything you want with regards to LEO stuff and I'll do my best to try and give you guys a complete and concise answer. Btw, anybody can contact me anytime by PM or by txting me at 0917-843-2201. I would even be glad to discuss it with you in person whenever I'm in Manila (currently assigned elsewhere). Hope I can help. If I can't, I can always refer you to people who can, especially my more experienced batch mates!

You can order directly from Comp-Tac, they accept international orders and they ship directly to the Philippines.
